From what I have seen so far celery is the only food with -5.0 fat. You can buy it from vendors, just check if there is food on the stands around them.

Game takes a little while to get into. I'm starting to have fun running around checking out shops and trying on new clothes and completing that maddening Blacksmith Job.
Something I haven't seen noticed, is how many pop culture references there are in the game. I just heard a little kid say "From beneath you, it devours. . ." and had to stop and think - what the heck did they just say that.

I was just at some kind of gladiator arena and beat the crap out of some enemies with my lvl4 slow time spell (time deadline for specifc arena: 2:30; beat in: 25 seconds). Maybe the boss will be something like that.
And I found a bug. Some vendors there have 4-star magic xp potions (the red dots you can collect) and it says in the description it should give 12500xp. Now when I collect said XP it also adds just 12500xp to the on screen display. But once I go into the menu i have about 60000 magic xp more.
Maybe something that will be patched with a release day patch.

I agree, augments are weak. And the map part is true too, I can't remember all doors and chests.
Does anyone know where teh bookstore is? I can't find it.
Combat is really great later on btw, if you use different things that is.

Ok i just completed the game, i made Spoiler: | the ultimate sacrifice but i was thinking of reviving my dog but i didnt |
It was a thrill ride and i have to say that this game gave me a lot of shivers, everything is so well tought off.
Music 10/10 I cant think of any other game where the music is so well done and gave the whole Fable atmosphere a real atmosphere i wont forget
Graphics 9/10 It isnt bad but sometimes there are some slowdowns but thats understandable if you see how many enemy's they throw at you and other characters helping etc.
Gameplay 10/10 i think this is the ultimate RPG, well for me it is, there is so much to do and even now i completed the game i still havent discoverd everything.
Well i would give it a overall score of 9.5, for a RPG lover it cant get any better then this, well atleast for a Fable fan it cant.

Theres also one in Bowerstone, and one in the Gypsy Camp (I think). Btw, anyone know if you can have multiple characters at the same time, or will my character get deleted if I start a new game?

you can have multiple chars, didn't count how many but it's at least five. at the start of the game it lets you select which one you wanna play

Main quest, in hobbe cave. Im thinking it might be my dvd laser, I have a replacement, but it's got a anti static solder blob that needs soldered off. Which is dumb, but my friends doing it for me.

Finished last night and I agree with most of what has been said already. To sum it up I'd say that it's a highly commendable sequel since it does exactly what Fable did, just a little better and prettier, not much more than that.
My major grievances are that you can't have separate saves/profiles, I went through the first time as a pure, good hero and wouldnt mind being able to check him out from time to time but that's a no go now since he's been replaced by his evil counterpart.
And there comes another issue I have with this game, I'm not sure if I missed some essential stuff but my good hero didn't achieve paragon goodness until the very end (the final choice) of the main questline but my hour-old evil character is fully evil. I suppose it's "easier" to be evil in real life too but is it really supposed to be THAT hard in this game to be good?
Also some jobs are way easier than others, woodchopping and bartending (at least for me) earns me way more cash than blacksmithing simply because it's way easier.
Another thing that sort of baffles me is that there are no difficulty settings, I did not die a single time in my first playthrough and did not have to use a single resurrection phial. Fallout has this thing down - harder difficulty = mobs have more hp and give more xp. Doesn't have to be more complex than that.
Also it sort of bugs me that I was obese like halfway through the game after eating a lot of pies and stuff and I'll buy that, what I don't buy is that it's so hard to take that weight off There should be some minus-Fat things to do except just eating celery, like -10 fat for 50 woodchops or 20 swords forged or just like -5 fat for running through an entire zone or whatever.
Finally I have a few spoiler-questions:
Spoiler: |
-What was with the music box? I never understood that part, i mean at the start it just disappears, then it reappears after you visit your sister in the dream and it turns out it's a weapon? Wait.. what?
-I never realized that my family were all dead until Theresa told me when you have to make the final choice, i mean I saw the dog get shot but they didn't mention my family until I had to make that choice.
-Back when you have to meet the Shadow King or whatever his name was and either sacrifice your youth or sacrifice the girls youth i (playing a good char) naturally chose myself as the sacrifice which earned me good points, however it also gave my RED evil eyes, like wtf? They eventually changed into the good blue ones but still.

Spoiler: | Exactly. They're never mentioned, and you live by yourself with Rose, so this suggestes that they're either dead or gone. Also, I'm pretty sure fat decreases over time. You're saying that your evil character has red eyes? My evil and corrupt character has green eyes :/ |
