I was hoping either Dead Space or Fallout 3 to make a release on PC this weekend. As I have Far Cry 2 pre-ordered. Wont get to the other games for a while i figure.

Sucks ass, the console thread is booming with glory on this game. I can't play FPS/TPS on gamepads, I had hard enough time doing it in RE4.
Guess it's a killer if they don't fix it, which is funny cause THEY don't make the decision if the controls are good for PC gamers, the gamers themselves make that decision, and if that's how it's going to be and they don't fix em (if they really are that bad) then fuck them I'm not buying it.

hmmmm........
I had to destroy my freaking gamepad before Dead Space came out.
WHY doesn't my freaking gamepad work no more, all I did was clean the analog sticks :gah.

Could it be that this game also has an online activation like several other titles in the past (and present)? That could be the reason why there is no scene release yet.

ALL EA games are with online activation + DRM , this is no exception

I just buy fucked up cabled xbox controllers and re-wire them into a usb connection.. piece of piss, really it is, should try it..

Pfft, a broken controller, thats nothing 
I managed to get a failed bios update yesterday, so my new über pc is pretty much paperweight now. Have to tear out everything from my pc, RMA the mobo, send it back, wait for them to check it out, then wait for a new mobo to arrive, then finally assemble everything again. Oh well, good things come to those who wait, maybe this game is cracked by then

bluetooth dongle is the only way, the usb cable is just for charging iirc

Bluetooth is not the way. USB is actually the only way to do it currently. I use one of my controllers on my PC for emulation, so yeah.
Drivers are here: http://premium1.uploadit.org/philds//sixaxisdriver.zip
Just plug into USB, and install. Works fine.

Funny thing is, I did it the _right_ way. I got the right bios, but used nvidia system tools, bad bad bad bad idea... I couldn't even patch my backup bios back, so I was pretty much fucked... Anyways, shit happens, I'll get this game for my 360 instead

Of note is the fact that NONE of the dozens of PS3 Six-Axis drivers actually function on x64.
