i love people on here who equate the size of a games iso to the quality of the game, going by that the 12gb turok should be a masterpiece

Guys! Try start the game (not the editor, but the game itself). NOW IT STARTS DOWNLOADING UPDATE INFORMATION. It was not the case yesterday.
And then it asks for serial and, therefore, activation.

is there is big difference between xp - dx9 and vista dx10 on far cry 2 like there was on crysis?
will it affect performence in anyway?
i know we have played the game yet but from ppl with the editor who have d9 and 10 ...
im sticking to xp right have thought of changing to vista but hate it i would only change if it was better for games...

not about that but see crysis is quiet bigger... dunno but same style.. and 1st Cry was from crytec = bugtec...

If you downloaded it, you could purchase with a proxy and use only the serial. This is what I did with Mass Effect. |

i wouldn't take the performance in editor as any measuring stick for real game performance... especially since there are no enemies or anything, plus judging from the screens, its in rather low-mid settings (especially shader wise). Plus i doubt there is any DX10 used in the editor either.

there is something strange with this release
i dont know but i feel like a half part of the game is missed, just look the readme.txt

this release is only 3gb, maybe is for language missing like chinese or something like that ...

Could be its a leak faked by Ubisoft to get the unique machine ID´s and IP of all the ppl who download and start things without using their brain. Maybe some ppl should prepare for funny lawyer letters. Maybe not, who knows....

that my fear, but the crackers are no idiots. So if is a trap of ubisoft to catch them, they will be not that stupid.
For me they leaked the MP EDITOR renamed to Far Cry 2 full release.
