How is this Off Topic?
Dead Space has some major control problems, and the only way to play it properly is with a controller.
And we are talking about controllers.
The BIOS may be slightly off topic.

How one comment from one guy about crappy controls can divert the discussion. Ah, that's the brilliance of teh internetz.

Fine, back on topic of the game itself! Anyone catch the GT review before it got taken down? Looks like a fun game, reminds me of a cross between Doom 3 and Bioshock...though third person.

well if it was a console thread it wouldn't be much of a diversion. But the fact this is PC and most of us use keyboard/mouse for shooters is a huge deal, I can't really stomache playing these kinds of games on a gamepad, I just suck horribly at it.

Guys 360 controllers/adapters aren't that expensive, after all, you've got all that money you saved not buying the game! |
Same goes for anyone with a PS3 controller. If you have one, all you need are the drivers I posted earlier, and it'll work perfectly. Just plug it into the USB port, install the drivers, and enjoy!

non-revocable? fucking seriously?
I could care less about these install limites, (sacred 2 only allows 2) but making them non-revocable?

I will buy it once someone makes a comment as regards the controls -or i will download it and then buy it if controls aren´t fucked up- , otherwise i´m not paying 50 bucks for it.
I wanted this game so bad... and now all the reviews say the controls aren´t there, fuck.

@Repetitious: Why are you talking such a shit? I bought this week PES 2009 and yesteday NBA 2K9. Why should that be an excuse? But the mf developers have to learn that they cannot do anything to force success. You only can do that with quality games and not with a shitty protection.

I believe one of the reviews said something along the lines of a three legged dog trying to lick his own d**k.
Then again you could play with a controller. I might give Resident Evil 4 another go, this time wif a controller.

yes...if you are from the US, as today is the US release date...whereas if you are from the UK its not on D2D for d/l untill friday, the official UK release day...but thankfully with the aid of www.game.co.uk i will be playing it the day before release day, as they always send games out a day or so before release to make sure you have them on rls day
when there is no more room in hell, the D34D will walk the earth

Playing Resident Evil 4 until then, must say that playing with gamepad is a huge improvement over the dodgy mouse patch. Apart from the graphics which suck horse n*ts, game is entertaining.
Will also get me used to aiming with gamepad in time for Dead Space.
