NBA 2k is not for begginers, took me a while until I started busting people up with my Bobcats on 2k8, damn it was fun. Will be a sad day when my 2k9 arrives it means forced retirement for 2k8

I've been practicing shooting in tutorial mode with Kobe and even though i got the timing down so it says Perfect on every attempt he still misses like 8 out of 10 shots even from the paint. Is there anything else i need to know? ;o

Timing can be prefect, mine is 99% perfect, but that doesn't mean he will hit every shot, you ever played basketball timing alone doesn't decide if your shot goes in.

Perfect timing is useless if your shot is contested...Try looking for open shots (A good strategy to get some 3´s is getting the ball to the post, wait for the AI to double u, then pass back to your open pg), or attack more the basket.

mmm, don´t know then. If u shot with Rs, try with the shot button to prevent fading away or something. Should be almost 6/10.

NBA Jam...
played on the megadrive:) was great game.
i checked some google pages about nba live vs 2k9 and all of them says:2k9 wins..so i think i will get it too. |

i'm playing on the 360 pad and it's working great - but something weird is going on - i jumped into a quick game after a quick practice, and they don't take the ball out of bounds after I score - in fact it's like scoring doesn't mean anything - the points go on, but as soon as it goes through the hoop i can just grab it and score again!!
anyone else got this. it can't be a setting - i mean what do you call that in the setting - stupid bastard game mode?

Good game. Not perfect but miles away from Live series. And cheap. EA crap has 2x that price every year. Deffinitely worth buying.
PD: I haven´t seen that inbound glitch yet, after playing 6 games.

It seems they corrected the missing cd key, you have to reinstall steam (only if you installed 2k9 I hope at least) then it won't ask you for the cd key at all.
