It's singleplayer only. However, there is quite a bit of replay value, as the game has RPG type elements for suit/gun/whatever upgrades. Not to mention the game is fucking hard on Hard mode - And there is a super hard mode.
(Of course, still nowhere near as hard as Bionic Commando rearmed on super hard mode. Jesus McChrist that game is fucking hard on super hard mode..)

That statement is about as stupid as the lady I almost rear-ended today when she decided to come to a dead stop in the passing lane while everyone was going 70MPH.

Or buy the game and support developers that have made a good game.
Holy shit. Imagine that.

Mouse would make the game too easy, thats why the screw the controls up so that trying to aim with the mouse becomes challenging.

Because it's an awesome game. There are plenty of decent console ports. Chronicles of Riddick comes to mind immediatly as still an amazing console port.

@McHart
So you have to aim using both analog sticks or what? There's nothing a controller analog stick can do that a mouse can't do faster and with infinitely more precision.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

I'm well aware of this. I still play HL Deathmatch classic on a nightly basis. I'm very familiar that mouse+keyboard is a much better setup for FPS's. Dead Space isn't a FPS. It's a 3rd person shooter with a unique take on weapons and aiming. So to equate HLDM/Unreal/Quake style twitch based shooting to Dead Space (Which is nothing alike) just doesn't make sense.

How does this statement in any way impact that the mouse/kb controls for the PC version are utterly broken? And that the problem has absolutely nothing to do with the gameplay. And has everything to do with shoddy "porting"?

Played Resident Evil 4 for about 6 hours with gamepad.
Now if they had proper mouse support, I would have utterly massacred the zombies with headshots. With gamepad it takes a little longer to align the shots, especially when shooting multiple enemies.

shitty controls!=more difficult.
Yes crap controls are definitely more tedious. It has absolutely nothing to do with "challenge". Unless patience to play a game with crap controls is included in the word challenge. I should play with one eye closed that should ramp up the challenge also!

Then we hopefully can expect a scene-release today. I'm looking forward, but first I have to play FarCry 2.

Far Cry 2 it's from Ubisoft !! I guess it's the same protection as Spore and Crysis Warhead. Will be cracked soon for sure.

turn off vsync in game as that limits fps to 30 then force on vsync in drivers and that will limit it to the proper 60fps
