With Vsync, Ultra high details, 1920 x 1200:

* Total Frames: 8511, Total Time: 186.55s
* Average Framerate: 45.62
* Max. Framerate: 61.01 (Frame:4846, 108.01s)
* Min. Framerate: 23.23 (Frame:3726, 81.19s)

Its fucking weird. It dips so low at times, I thought this card would shred this game.

Download the ati fix for crossfire for farcry 2.
It's on their site.

They're using the FC2 hotfix drivers so it's looking like the 4870X2 is messed up atm.

not bad with most settings very high.

Oh and a little tip, disable bloom and HDR ... looks so much better lol. (doesn't impact FPS tho, or very little).

Wow, Geforce8 is an ass.

People actually offer to help him purchase a game he claims he would purchase if he could, and he ends up flaming them.

lol

I would take a guess and say thats because in the editor the number fo objects you had on the map was fare less then when playing single player.

This might be caused by Vsync. Try turning it off. Otherwhise, try lowering the settings, sometimes this helps.

GeForce Release 180 Beta
Version: 180.42
Release Date: 21.10.2008

* Beta driver for GeForce 200-series, 9-series, and 8800-series desktop GPUs.
* Recommended for the best experience on Far Cry 2:

“Since we first began working on Far Cry 2 in early 2005, we have used GeForce GPU’s to develop the game and worked closely with NVIDIA’s excellent engineers. While Far Cry 2 represents an outstanding PC gaming experience for a wide range of systems, GeForce users can expect to enjoy the game quite literally ‘The Way It Was Meant To Be Played’.” - Louis-Pierre Pharand, Ubisoft, Far Cry 2 Producer

tried the new drivers cant really tell if they are degrading performance, something is definatly wrong on this end though

running the benchmarks im getting very low results regardless of detail settings ultra high avg of 38 and low settings average of 42, 4 frames? must be driver related.
