WTF? Why would they cut out the cute?
That's just retarded.
I was going to buy this but now I guess I'll just pirate it because it's uncute.

well...played the game for about two hours straight there, mini review time
the atmosphere in it rocks, although progression is more linear than i expected, enemy AI tend towards the run right at you variety-sound graphics, design and the whole look of the game is very good, there is no HUD and theres no jumping to an inventory screen to pause the game gore in it is scary as there are several melee moves, like pistol/weapon whip and foot stomp, which is pretty funny
all in all i am glad i bought the game but recommend any fan of survival horror to check it out, its along the same idea of say "the thing" meets "aliens" on a wrecked spaceship
in fact, id recommend any horror fan to play it, but there is one niggle about the game that i have to point out, i dont know why the mouse movement is smooth and responsive when running about but its not as responsive when you arm a weapon- hopefully there is a way to sort this out, oh, and for anyone saying you HAVE to play this with a gamepad i say "bollocks" i am playing with mouse/keyboard and it plays well (apart from the slight sluggishness of mouse mentioned earlier)
gfx - 8/10 nothing terribly new but they more than do the job
gameplay - 8/10 really good atmoshere and plenty of gore
audio - 9/10 lets just say its immersive
overall 8/10
when there is no more room in hell, the D34D will walk the earth

There won't be a way to sort this out, this is how they intended to make it.
Not because they don't know how to implement proper mouse controls.
Like EA said, to give an "equivalent" experience as to the one the consoles.

@D34Dite You actually bought the game for PC or are you referring to the 360 version?

So dumbing-down has reached a new low? They're now purposely making games for PC harder to control to make it as crappy as the stupid console controllers? Welcome to the next generation of gaming!

online protection...looks like the same deal as alone in the dark used - it actually mentions on the front cover that an online connection is required for activation-even tho this is not mention on the BACK of the game in the system reqs
