Man. That helicopter landing...painful to watch. The worst thing about Boiling point was the awful vehicle phisics (or the lack of it). Hope they won't make the same mistake again.

They released a clarification regarding the "leak" from that Intel show (It's still available for download but SF protected and all keys are in-use so it's pretty much useless, also not the full game or even a demo as it's mostly demonstration levels.)
Anyway based on the somewhat crude Google translation the developers mentioned that it would be better to wait for the real game as it's only a month away.
Russian release is out, has starforce of course. The release im getting apparently has antiSF drivers, hopefully they'll work on vista 64. Will comment on the game later (if i can run it), probably tomorrow since torrent is pretty slow but im really hoping it is not a bug fest like bp1 or stalker.

Looks good. I just hope it won't be buggy as BP1 was. I still remember the slideshow no matter what PC you had. And dropping through the map, that was annoying as hell. But gameplay was good. Let's hope this one lives to our expectations.
yep but i tried recently BP1, and guess what with the latest patch and my recent PC the game is very playable and the jungle gfx are good enough. great missions the pilot ones for the drug lords
Boiling point had potential and got me hooked for sometime but with all the shitty bugs and performance issues it made it shit after a while
FC2 isn't an RPG it's a open world action game , you can't compare and has way less bugs than bp and performs flawlessly

I would really appreciate if any of our Russian friends would give us a mini-review of the game.
I'm not expecting much, considering the Bugfest that BP1 was. But I gotta admit, BP1 had TONS of potential (at times it was ALMOST a 3D FPS Jagged Alliance). So who knows...
And BP1 being better than FC2? I doubt that even the developers of BP1 agree on that one.
I like the game..just played it..works with latest antisf drivers (3.2)..only problem for me is the russian text everywhere... i mean its not FC 2 or so..but for a lot it may be even better and more fun to play...hope someone finds a way to hack some english into this...
