If somebody has the time to help me out, i would be greatfull!!!!
Don't use any editors, they'll just hide interesting and important stuff. Best is to learn XHTML from the bottom. It could also be good to learn javascript and PHP. You needed a video guide so I recommend you this one: Lynda.com: Learning XHTML, but It's better reading a book like Oreilly xhtml because they contain much more info.

I tend to disagree here, why go into the deep end?
If you're new to html etc... using editors can help people understand how it all works then eventually go into different languages like php, xhtml, cgi etc...
Because I did first use Dreamweaver and I had to study real coding from the bottom because I wanted to use some cool stuff that wasn't included in Dreamweaver MX 2004. Editors also don't follow latest web standards. You'll feel a lot more proud when you have coded the page yourself.
imho when u just start its not about being proud but efficent while building fo the future. I started w/ dreamweaver and homesite (both are merged now) some years ago, mainly using the code interface and using the design one only once in a while when it was needed. i got to know most of html that way (and reading on websites as well) and then only got to work w/ php and other scripting language when i did need it. Some editors are better than others and i think dreamweaver is one that can be adviced to anyone willing to learn whats going on 'behind the scene' (unlike lame frontpage for instance). As far as book are concerned, its always good to have one at reach for quick references, and indeed, oreilly is always the best bet.
