Rip is out - 3.04 GB.

Unfortunately, they didn't remove the other languages, file size could've been even smaller Neutral

im not digging this game, I just started chapter 3 and it seems all im doing is running around collecting ammo, going back and forth to the store and upgrading weapons. there is to much shit in the way of the game.
not to mention its such a slow pace with the terriblely slow mouse speeds, do they think PC gamers have mouse pads the size of king size mattresses these days? I'm having to pick my mouse up and move it all over the dam place.

I wish the devs would of spent more time optimizing the controls for pc, its one thing on a controller to hold the stick in one direction and youll eventually get turned around but on a computer picking up the mouse and moving it over and over again really gets fucking annoying.

What are our chances that a scene group like RELOADED will release this in the next couple of days or so as well? or do you think they probably won`t as this release works?

r0fl, couldn't care less if the "scene" releases it or not.

This one works.

Yeah, this one works, but he makes a point. A scene release would be nice for archiving. Above that? Not much.

Yes, this is the exact reason why I tend to prefer scene releases.

Since this one has a proper installer, and everything is just fine, the crack works, etc, I see no reason why this can't be archived. For instance, when the proper scene release of BioShock came, it was the best, because it had the original installer intact, while all others had some sort of custom installers. Here it's nothing like that.

I`m just fussy person i guess. Razz I have a big box full of archived onto DVD scene releases, and maybay only 3-4 non scene ones.

Tried playing with my gamepad, playing with keyboard & mouse worked better for me.

Damn, this game is really taxing my 8800GTS 320MB. Playing on max settings 1680*1050, getting FPS of above 60. However GPU temps are soaring at 90 degrees Centigrade.

This is insane.
No other game pushes my temps that far, and fan is runnin at 100%.

Fun game but several things keep it from being fantastic.

1.After an hour or two of playing i start to feel seasick! i have absolutely no idea why

2. The game except very few parts isnt really "scary". They don't develop the story or characters before the "monsters" are revealed. and after the first couple of levels all of the encounters are pretty much recycled. They really should have done more to a suspenseful environment. Had a larger intro with the threat hidden and allowed some character development to occur.

3.The monsters go from interesting to tedious very quickly. They are just to easy to avoid and kill. I died a single time in the ENTIRE game on hard.

4. Great sound effects but the "cues" are recycled FAR to often. The same metal clanking sound after the 10,000 time becomes dull.

5.50% of the game is backtracking and its utterly linear. No choices or strategy to speak of. Run in room slay everything run to next room the entire game.

6. Game is very short i completed it in 6ish hours on hard.

Still a fun little romp but atmosphere wise STALKER is far superior. At no point was i actually "nervous" .

7.5/10

No there is an entire animated movie. Its pretty good as well. But that really doest change that the story presented in the game is very weak and generic.
