ok, this is pisssing me right off
im at the beginning of the game. And I have to pick that guys locker. And it gives you arrows at which way to go. So I go that way. Then the arrow will tell me to go the other way, so i do. Then it will tell me to go the way I went first time and I do. Then it says go the other way etc etc
I did it for 10 cocksucking minutes...is there something i missing? like do you have to do something?
How do you pick the fuckin assholes locker?

You have to do it slowly. If you go to far, that turn won't count.Turn your mouse left until you hear a *click*. Then repeat for right and another left turn. I also had a little trouble in the beginning, but after a bit of practice I now pick them in just 4-5 seconds.

Ok, this is what a guide I found said (for the 360 tho)
You're going to
break into Russell's locker and steal his hat. Using the left analog stick,
rotate it around as the arrows indicate on the padlock icon that appears on
the right side of your screen. As with a real lock, the second arrow will
want you to rotate the dial a full turn before finally stopping for the
second part of the code.
I do that but the minute I pass zero, it reset. So I tried going the other war and after I hit zero it fuckin resets
PLEASE, for the love of god, someone tell me exacrly how to do this. Cause Ive tried everything and NOTHING FUCKIN WORKS!!!!!!!!!!

Just cause a fellow has a black belt in Kung fu doesn't mean he can beat the pimply nerd in Tekken 4 |
well, i finally did it but i dont know how
I mean, I use these locks ALL THE TIME at work. All my cabinets have these locks on them.
Just incase someone else has this stupid cocksucking problem (you'd think they would give you a tutorial tho) I will explain what I did.
The first number is 16 or 17. So instead of following the arrow I went clockwise around till i went back to the first locked number. Then I followed the arrow (which I must have done atleast 20 tmes before) but this time, once it hit 5, the locker finally opened.
I dunno if I figured it out or it was dumb luck so the next time i come across a lockpick situation, Im gunna try and do what I just did. Hopeflly, I got it right and it wasnt luck. I dunno till i try with another lock
But you know what? When we used to break into lockers in school, we used flattened safety pins and picked the lock where the key is supposed to go.
U'd think they would do that. I dont see how you can pick a lock like that without knowing the combination.....the game is alot of fun, but the lock thing is just so fuckin stupid. Whoever thought it up, I hope they die a slow, very painful death. it took me 30 minutes to do it. Jesus fuckin christ
And please, dont flame me. not you wrath but others.

Yea, as a another swede I must say english classes and some of the geography sucks
I'm using a walkthrough for english class since some of the words they want in i have never even heard of and i had to use a map for geography 2 since we never really studied american stategeography in school.
Europe was easy, asia was easy, africa shouldn't be much trouble either, so let's see what class 5 brings.
Edit: as for picking locks, with mouse it's easy anyway, just move it slowly in a circular motion until the arrow changes direction, right, left and then right again, can usually crack the locks in a few seconds. No clue how it is with an xbox controller.

You can tell when the pins fall in place by the resistance of the "dial" in simplified meat reality.

LeoNatan wrote: | No need for XPaddr. XPaddr is not always a good solution. Why go analog that is emulated by mouse, that emulated by analog?
There are two XInput emulators here that do exactly that, emulate the newer XInput interface with older DirectInput controllers. |
except the game doesnt seem to use the xinput dll to access the 360 pad, & therefore the emu dll's are no use. if anyone has managed to get another pad other than the 360 pad working, please do tell

SycoShaman, did you move your mouse in a circular motion? Dragging it to the left or right doesn't work. Took me a bit to figure that out as well. Generally I just make big circular arcs with my mouse and move the other direction as soon as the indicator changes. No probelems with lockpicking on my part.

You could also try increasing your mouse sensitivity to about 2, if you haven't already. Otherwise it might interpret your circular movements as regular left-right movements. Just a guess, but I've noticed it's easier for me in shop class after doing so, in which you also have to use some circular mouse movements.
Are there any more save locations than the dorm room, the principal's office and the beach house? I haven't reached the most right part of the map yet, so if there's another one there I couldn't know.

Just finished the game and i found a few more locations than that.
In the campus area there's 3 save books, the one you're missing here is the one in the Jock's house.
Then in town you're missing the nerds hideout (comicbook store), greasers hangout and townies hangout.
Anyhow, fun game, guess i'll finish up all those loose ends now so i can get 100% but all mainmissions are done and all in all 3 crashes and no graphics glitches that others have reported.
