Why do people think darkcoder will do anything with this?
The only thing he can crack is a paul.dll. This game does not use that activation.

So the question is rhetorical?

Quote: | Jonric: Based on your awareness of the universe, what impressions do you have about Fallout 3, aside from the music?
Inon Zur: The universe is the same one as before, but the treatment from Bethesda is harsher. It's more story-driven, less technical, which definitely helps separate it from the others. Also, the characters are being played by Liam Neeson, Ron Perlman and some other big names, which really helps. It's very cinematic and dramatic. |
found here
Is this what Fallout fans want?, I don't know. Ron Perlman was already in the two previous games along with other "big names". It seems Bethesda is wiping the slate clean and assuming the previous games weren't epic in their own right.
They're assuming you need heroic musical scores and cinematic gameplay for a game to be influential and memorable, the two previous games proved that this was not the case.
Following this logic, it tells something of how much they actually understand the Fallout games.

That's how it looks at least, won't know for sure until it's downloaded and by the rate it's going another release from a known group will already be out. (For example Procyon for a clone followed by some group that's cracked either the disc check unless it's also SecuROM protected or Windows Live!, not much point in cracking Live! though as you can use a offline profile most of the time if you don't want achievements and other extras.)
EDIT: As mentioned though there's other titles in the meantime.
(Dead Space, various sports games, Far Cry 2, Bully, Dynasty Warriors 6 and more just to take a few recent examples.)

Personally I don't care what other Fallout fans want. If they made this game solely for us it would tank.
And the music is good. The title music is 'epic' sounding, but the background music is ambient and eerie like the originals.

As long as the game if fun to play, with interesting quests who cares about the music being too epic etc
The music in morrowind was at times on level with Braveheart, but it only made the feeling you got more special when playing.

I haven't heard much music from FO3 yet but the one from when you exit the vault is good. I like!

Interesting,
I was reading through the comments on the Demon FO3 torrent, when this came up:
Quote: | The torrent you requested was deleted by it's owner or a moderator. |
So, what gives?

He is right though, a Russian version has been uploaded to a few sites and seems to work based on comments. (Or rather, seems to be real as Star-Force makes it unplayable currently.)

Coming to think about it, some troll probably posed as a bethsoft employee via pm and threatened legal action or something along those lines, guy panicked and hit the emergency button - well something like that. I don't see why the demon would have nuked it. Curious.

i doubt this would've been the first time that demonoid or mininova got threatened.
i don't see why they'd suddenly comply now.

Nah, not the demon or nova - rather the original seeder, which seemed to be rather clueles to start with.

Just seems really strange that it was deleted now. Wonder wether the guy is still seeding? I'm not in the swarm, so no idea.

1C seems to be the publisher for the Russian version, Bethesda/Zenimax probably distribute it in the US and I don't know who'll distribute the EU version. (THQ?, Ubisoft? - both have published Bethesda titles if I remember correctly.)

How could it, those of you in the US will have proper access to the game tomorrow (Retailers and such I mean.) with the EU release date following shortly after. (Friday I believe.)
