I'm a comic book fan, so the only thing barring me from trying this game is horrendous performance issues.
So, anybody with specs close to mine have any issues with the game?
E6750, 2gb RAM, HD4650

I have GF 8800 GTS 640mb, Core2Duo 2.13GHz, 2 gig ram and XP.
It runs WORSE than Crysis/Far Cry2/Crysis Warhead.
It runs even worse than Bully.
When something explodes on screen, it feels like I am playing powerpoint presentation(2-3 FPS).
In fact the game uses only one core even if you have dual/quad/whatever.
The combat is awesome though, so is the upgrade system.
IMO 6/10 , maybe patches will fix the lags. :< If they will, IMO 8/10, best Spidey game ever made for sure.
But I heard you can't freeroam after the end, which sucks. |

I don't know, but I heard patch does nothing at all. In fact it only adds options to disable particles, but then you CAN'T see if the enemy is blocking or not(when baddie is blocking he has this weird orb-like thing around him, and with particles off it just disappears).
If 1.2 patch appears, it will probably be ok though.

Just tested the reloaded rls, it doesnt come with the patch, shame... because this game needs it badly.
This game runs like shit indeed.. waiting for 1.1 crack..

So ¿is imposible to play? with out the crack¡?
Reloaded has screwed it up
now we have to wait a little bit, because they are cracking fallout 3
damn it..

Its far from being impossible to play, for me its working nicely, combat is great, only problem is some ocasional stuttering when swinging around the city, otherwise its all cool, iam not getting any fps drops with explosions etc.

works the same like Spiderman 3 , loots of hick ups .... comparing this to the xbox360 version the PC version has no pop-ups and bigger LODs but the performance is awful

getting some fps drop here aswell... the combat system and all the moving around is ok once you get a hang of it! with the swings and auto lock and combat...
i got some problem with the texture like glitches

Patch was supposed to help with that, currently looking for mini-image or similar in order to see if there's a difference but I could perhaps tweak the config file manually, haven't tested the game yet due to lack of time (Due to a "flood" of other titles.)

From what I've read, the patch doesn't really do anything for optimization.

It does add a options menu though and that ought to help, also fixes a few crash bugs and game issues if you skip a particular cutscene.
