dunno about it being good sequel and all, but it was ok altho it didn't felt like the first one, something was definitely missing even tho missions were more variate
after i finished first one i started to play it on harder difficulty right away, with 2nd part that wasn't an option, in fact i don't think i'll be playing it again anytime soon

Just finished. I liked the first one, but this is just too much of the same. The graphics and sound are great, but it's just not very exciting to play. The atmosphere is dull and the story is cliche and boring. The voice behind Dom claimed: "It's going to be more emotionally affecting than Bioshock". That's just him spewing hype and bullshit. I had to force myself to finish.
I'm sure co-op is a lot more fun, and I haven't tried multiplayer, but overall: it's a rather uninspired sequel. It's a hype-machine, though, and will sell many copies...but I bet the reviews will be less than stellar. Maybe my expectations were too high...but they shouldn't be spreading hype like gonorrhea if that's the case.

I agree with you, I loved the first one, but this one, there's just something, it doesn't feel as fun. It is great, but yeah, I don't feel that "I've got to play" feeling, like I did with the first one. |

Same here, but just with GOW2, with Dead Space i was kinda thrilled but i have to say that i loose interest fast, as i only played 3 chapters and havent touched anything except james bond because its like a rollercoaster, fast and easy to play.

im stuck on top of the icy mountain just after the tower fall down in the locust outpust.
the objective says "search the cave network for the locust stronghold" and i enter the cave and i found nothing. i searched the cave for 2 hours and found nothing.
where to go next?
plz help me, it makes me crazy

I had no problems there, I just rode forward. So I guess the only advice I can give is look again... there were a few spots where you had to jump down IIRC, maybe you missed those?

when i look at my objective i can see that "take down the locust output" is still active even though i took down the tower and went into the cave.
maybe its some kind of a bug?! or maybe i didnt took down the locust outpust yet?!

after you took down the tower you went to the cave and that was that for you?
or maybe i need to do something else on the locust outpost?
i will try to play the level from the start in hope that it will fix this strange and annoying bug

Just finished it on hardcore mode, game seems easier then the first one on hardcore.
Great game but not fantastic "8"
