I haven't actually seen many videos of the game as it used to be a console exclusive title but as you see it's named "Grand Theft Auto 4 PC Trailer" so that's why I used that title. Doubt the game will look or behave all that different from the console version though so it doesn't surprise me that it looks the same. (There's a few differences though like those early screens posted previously in this thread and comparisons.)

If it was anything like how GTA:SA ran it should be fun. They don't tend to port the -good- games badly, at least not in my experience.

Correct, they were afraid of releasing it near the Saints Row 2 release, so they pushed it forward.

Earlier this summer PC gamers got the good news that Rockstar Games' open world action game Grand Theft Auto IV would be coming to the PC on Nov. 18. Now it's looking like we will have to wait a couple of weeks longer that previously announced. Online retailers like Gamestop and Amazon.com are now showing a Dec. 2 release date for the PC port. We've emailed Rockstar Games to get some confirmation on this since retail web sites can be wrong on their ship dates at times. However delay of a couple of weeks isn't that significant when you consider that other console games like Mirror's Edge and Saints Row 2 are looking like their PC ports will be delayed into 2009.

You seem to be correct sir: Game, Play, Amazon, Gameplay and my "local" shop Bol.com all still have Nov. 21st listed as the release date.

The replay editor also sounds pretty good, means we'll see some awesome fanmade stuff Smile

I can only see a positive side to it requiring a low-clocked QC for recommended settings: first properly threaded game? Smile

If you read the preview, they run it at (for me) a ridiculous resolution, and it runs smooth according to IGN; plus, it looks better.

Judging by what I've read so far, the engine has actually been optimized quite well for the PC Very Happy

PC.IGN got some hands-on time with Grand Theft Auto IV (PC) which is coming to North America on Dec 2nd (Nov 21st in Europe and Australia).

Who knows maybe there will be a possible leak of GTA IV maybe on the 21st.
