Again as I posted earlier, I found it great and a lot better than Legend/Anniversary, specially Legend.
Graphics are top notch, gameplay is very good.. Sound is perfect... Dunno why you'd be disappointed except about the camera that is horrible

Well, isn't the camera always bad in platformers? 
Is it optimized? Legend was godawful when it came to the "NG" mode's optimization.

just finish the demo on pc.
i think the game is just like cyclone said allready.
the game is beautifull also very optimized and plays very smooth.
i played the game with everything max out and 2048/1536 res.

lol, how do you get past the beginning, it says press left and space to jump, but lara doesn't jump far enough. Just where the parrots fly away in the beginning.
*edit* nvm seems u just gotta jump backwards

for poeple asking about optimization, it's very good.
The game is running at about 60fps, everything maxed, CSAA 8x (yeah not FSAA), in 1280x1024. Dunno why the recommended specs are so high, since 9800GTX ~ 8800GT. BTW Core2duo E6600 @3.5 + 8800 GT 512MB.

True. After Assassins Creed, all platformers should take a note. But the game is fine overall. I'll take a few shots later. |

Demo is pathetic. You draw weapons 10x too fast, the animations are too fast aswel, there are some fucked up lines everywhere, the camera is incredibly annoying.

ok..that was befor i played.
now...
after:
graphic is nice and gameplay we all know..but wtf is this controll's? i mean..i can get use to the jumps and movements, but no way i iwll play this game with this camera..eidos don't have beta and demo testers befor they release crap like that?
also this tigers and bats? what is this?
crapy models..even the bear from the first tomb rider looks better.
also as someone said above..animation is way to fast and the shooting system makes you feel like you are 4 years old..
i am not sure i am going to get the full version after this. |
