I've tried everything that ppl suggested on this forum and other forums, I tried updating drivers, rolling back drivers, even re-installed my os, and nothing has worked. i still get the unhandled exception error. This is what it says:

Loving the game so far.
Needed to lower the brightness a bit though since it was drowning out the fancy effects.
Good looking game, great gameplay, MP is fun and better balanced out than 4 especially with the perks (but I'm not complaining since I've played 4's MP everyday for the last year) so I'm buying this one as well.

Is the flamethrower available in the zombie section at the end ? if so were is it ??
I found the lazer/blaster thing and the panzerfaust in that box that gives random weapons but sofar no flamethrower in there.
Today it is my turn to be AN knobhead

On my rig the game runs like shit ! In the beginning of the game in the forest I hardly get above 20 fps. Most of the time it's between 14 and 19 fps.
With the same graphic settings, COD4 runs between 45 and 110 fps ! And COD4 looks sharper to me. There must be something wrong ...

Ok, since i don't have the energy to go back and lookg trough all the pages i will ask here.
A friend of mine is having problem with the game.
When he try to start it he just get a black screen.
What should he do?

Couple of problems: It won't let me change the audio option to 5.1 eventhough it's set @ 5.1 in my audio settings, but ingame audio option is 2 speaker stereo! I have creative xtreme gamer sound card, 2_18_0004 driver, vista ultimate X86 SP1.
I played through the japaneese missions, and the german ones; but now when I start up the game it doesn't give me the "continue mission" option for some reason, only new game, or pick mission and the first mision is there only; what gives? |
I'm on an XP SP3 machine. If I'm not mistaken, that could only be done for Vista rigs, right? I tried disabling the Unimodem half thing and it still doesn't work.

Depends. What kind of screen does he want?

In addition to the the (very) poor performance issue, the game always crashes when I get to the fence after I set a barrel on a truck on fire in the beggining of the game.
Anyone experienced this ?

i'm having this problem too, try this: got to control panel->phone and modem options->modems->remove the modem/modems you are not using
it's a bit strange but maybe will help...

My modems are disabled as well. I did that a long time ago for something else. I wonder if this problem will happen to the retail version. It's weird because it gives me a water droplet message at the end of the console message. Is there a way to alter the .ini file or something to bypass the console check? I dunno what I'm talking about

Don't use cdkey and accounts that came with reloaded release. Anyone can delete them and you lose your saves.

Its gotta be in one of these folders in
Documents and Settings\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles
Delete other, or open&edit active.txt to the right profile.

just finished the SP Campaign. what a thrill ride. this was the most intense single player campaign I have ever played. I don't like WW2 games, I more into modern/future war, that's why I loved Modern Warfare so damn much, but this one, managed to top Modern Warfare even if the main theme was ultra-explored.
so.... World at War Game of the Year 2008?!?!??
Fallout 3 and Dead Space are so far, imo, the closest candidates to game of the year, but from a longshot World at War tops them with ease.
what an outstanding piece of gaming this was.
10/10 to World at War

No. Performance is great on both my PCs, my kid's PC, and my wife's LAPTOP.
