I picked it up, and it's pretty cool (IMO). I love AC/DC and it's nice to have some of their hits all on one package. It's nice too, because I'll be able to transfer the songs for use in RB2 as well. It is a standalone game and has it's own achievements worth 250 Gamer Points (for those who care). But good overall, but not the greatest thing ever, of course.

EDIT: Put simply, if you're an AC/DC fan and you like RB 1 or 2, or rhythm games in general, you'll likely love these tracks. Outside of that, I can't really say.

Did you download the Goomba release? Sounds really cool. I am big ACDC fan but not the biggest fan of Black Ice. Once you import the songs into RB2 is there any Live banning repercussions? I suppose it's like any other release, you take your chance.

apparently you have to validate in on live using an activation code to download tracks to RB1/2

nope, haven't gotten to it yet ... just read that here:

Quote:
If you already own Rock Band or Rock Band 2, you will be able to export the songs from AC/DC Live into your playlist, but you'll have to buy the disc first, grab a code from inside and then connect to Xbox Live in order to authenticate it.

Ok, cool , thanks for the info. I will just wait then for it be ALOT cheaper. This is not worth $40. It will show up in Gamestop's bin or a department store cheap some day.

Thanks again,

MD

code can only be used once and only those who buy the proper game from shop get access to a code so those who download it can't export

yeah, for sure. I pretty much played through it in a couple of hours, probably won't play it much again since it's just one band. Kinda disappointed too that there is no hammer on/pull offs ... it's more like RB1 in that respect. But hey, pretending you're Angus Young is pretty fun, and some of those songs are epic Smile

Rolling Eyes GH2, GH3, GH4, RB1 = 4 games, not to mention the point of a new game is having new songs.

Just got my GHWT set in.

A pal release of this right now would be very handy for the weekend Razz

Rock band 1 works perfectly with the GHWT drumset.
