he could keep his post shorter, he could just pull the nuke card and say that they have the worlds largest nuclear stockpile enough to nuke every square Km of the planet 3 times over and still save some few hundred spares just in case the aliens attack.

that's what I would do if I was the average american idiot who thinks that the U.S. is somehow best and more deserving than the rest of the world.

I thing I just hate any form of patriotism, not that loving your home country is a bad thing, it isn't, it is in a way your larger home, but to most people, patriotism is a little like religion, they defend it even when it starts to be irrational and imoral. they advertise the best of their country and blindly justify and defend the worst.

I don't agree with the war in Iraq, nor do I agree with many of the things my leader(s) have implemented. However, as a soldier, I don't really have a choice. My only choice is in who I elect. So if i'm told that the building three and a quarter clicks away needs to go - I drop a MOAB on it. I hope to the mighty jeebus that whoever was in that building was someone who wanted me to die.

Not judging your job btw...

I just don't think you'ld be able to do what you do while at the same time maintain an objective view of the wider political situation...

I couldn't even begin to question the technicalities of the situation if I were in your position..

I voted for Nader because I beleive he would run my country the best way possible. Unfortunatly, most American's don't vote for the best canidate. They vote for the guy who has the best chance of winning.

and if it wasn't, would you just pretend?
or probably the guy you just bombed to kingdom come didn't wanted for anyone to die, he was just pissed of with the imperialistic manner in which the U.S. tries to govern the world. and when he decided to make a stand for it, your leaders decided it was more convenient for him to be away for a very long time.

No, the marines are the mindless tools. That is what their job is. My job requires that i'm capable of thinking for myself. I can tell you one thing though - Any building that has motherfuckers swarming in it shooting at me, or my buddies is going down. I really don't care why he is shooting at me. The bottom line is that if I don't kill him, he is going to kill me. We don't blow up random buildings for the hell of it. Those bombs do cost money, afterall - and with all the reporters out there, it's pretty hard these days to blow shit up that you aren't supposed to.

have you ever wondered that maybe they are shooting at you because you're flying above them and they just have a strange feeling that you'll be drooping a bomb above their asses any time soon. they're preemptively defending themselves, of course that I'm aware that some times this isn't the case, but several other times it is, and those times, who do you think is the terrorist?, the one defending or the one attacking.

you might need to use your cognition to do your "job" but you're still a mindless weapon, you're being the tool to do another persons will, and you're doing it by disabling your rational and moral self, when you're doing that job you are not a human being, you are a programmed machine, that was what I meant in the previous post.

Red Flag puts these planes in a position they should never be in anyways. In real life, the F22 would blow any other plane out of the sky before they would ever get in a dogfight.

Your F-22s don't stand a chance against our Mitsubishi Zeros. The 2x 7.7 mm machine guns and 2x 20mm cannons will blow them out of the sky anytime.

do you post from Iraq of Afganistan man? Like during your off hours?

Cause you keep saying your job is basically callin in airstrikes and such and the only way you could have a job like that means you must be stationed in a theatre (whether is iraq or afghan).

So, where you posting from?

Probably some psychiatric hospital, but then again, most of the guys who have been sent to those wars come back deeply disturbed, so he could actually be for real.

I would assume he's talking shit, since first off he's a total geek, his Doom 3 fanboyism proves that. Secondly, he keeps on going on about MOAB's, which just like the Desert Eagle is a weapon primarily designed for intimidation, with little practical use.

It's just like all those kids you see online going on about using duel pistols in a combat situation. Idiots who somehow think that claiming to be involved with the military gives their opinion more validity.
