yes it works, when you install you chose the non-steam (activation by internet or phone) , then when install completes it ask for the serial, and you quit. then you install the official patch that was released 9.1.0 and then you run the crack (20kb). And then you can run the game and no serial is asked.
The exe of the games has the same size, so o think the crack is a by-pass serial.

Just google FOOTBALL_MANAGER_2009-TL or FOOTBALL MANAGER 2009 TL there's plenty of places to get it. No need for crappy torrents or to waste Usenet account GB's. If you do a raw search of Usenet it's there. If you didn't have bones what would you be?

They need a crack to fix the "go on holiday" bug. (It works in the retail)
Wonder what other hooks were missed.
I wasn't happy with the demo, but the actual game is much better. Better interview questions. 3d looks a little smoother. Scores seem a little more realistic.

Unless proved otherwise, I think all the triggers are still there. They've fixed the Activation, sure, but that's the only thing they mention to have fixed in this "Test Crack 1".

Taking a while cause they gotta bypass more than just activation. It's probably possible to bypass that, but you dont know if the game starts to do its calculations wrong.

Does anyone of you have a porblem that game runs fine but when you try to start the game mouse pointer changes to the football ball and after that nothing happens. You can wait few hours..nothing.
Any solutions for this problem?

Unless I'm mistaken, previous versions of FM have often had so called 'triggers' which are supposed to affect pirated copies... FM games are notoriously buggy on release however, and it's easy for legitimate bugs to be paraded around as anti-piracy techniques until they eventually find their way onto a patch list. That's what happened last year, and the year before, and it's possible it's happening this year as well.
It should also be said that official employees have been called out on this issue on their own forums - but the 'damage' is already done once they spread the dissent. People get 'scared' into buying a legal version. Not that it's a bad thing to support a game like FM, but you know what I mean.

Yeah they started putting in triggers in fm07, it's funny because noobs go to the official forums and ask "omg why no holiday in the game ?!?!" and the admins will ban them.

I tried that and it didn't helped. Any other solutions? I just don't know what's wrong here..
I'm using Vista x64 and foceware 180.43

Don't know if they're crack issues but I've had my Tactics Positions screen show duplicates of players next to the real ones on the field, as well as had a crash already.
