That seems to be the case, the video directory on the dvd is 1.84 gigs while the install files are 2.07 gigs.

Btw anyone figured out how to make this brighter? Max gamma is 1.0 which sucks, its hard to see in some places.

Yuh, the video's are not compressed as much on the DVD version, which explains the extra size.

Love POP!

I have the same problem: it's ridicolous that the max gamma setting is 1.0, it's totally useless...
Utilities like Gamma Panel and Powerstrip don't work. Sad

I think i'm gonna pass on this one, more fights and less puzzles, exactly the opposite of what i wanted for the second one. And i hear they still can't get the sound right, Sands of time has soundbugs they still haven't fixed yet.

Actually it can't hurt to be more precice on this matter:

The game's VIDEO folder consists of the following tree:
    ├───Artworks
    ───CHARS
    ───ENVS
    ───ILLUS
    └───VIDEOS
    ├───Cine
    └───Weapons
    ├───AXES
    ├───DAGGERS
    ├───MACES
    ├───MAINS
    │ ├───0
    │ ├───1
    │ ├───2
    │ ├───3
    │ ├───4
    │ └───5
    ├───SWORDS
    └───ZARBIS
When comparing the CD and DVD version, I noticed that only ARTWORKS\VIDEOS and CINE differ in filesize.

Checking this out even further shows me that in those folders, files on the DVD seem to be twice the size of the ones on the CD. My guess is that it's better quality (checked the movies, they appear to be identical in both releases), except for some files in the ARTWORKS\VIDEOS folder.

Here lies the real difference: the unloackable 'artworks' throughout the game seem to differ between both releases. Startling discovery is that the file VIDEO06.BIK on the CD version contains a profile of several enemies, worth about 4MB. On the DVD, this file uses a whoppin' 687MB, and doesn't display an enemy profile, but instead shows a documentary about the history of the Prince of Persia series.

So, concluding: not ALL movies on the DVD release have better quality, only some have (and it isn't really noticable I might add). However, the DVD and CD version DIFFER in the sence that the DVD version contains movies not found on the CD version (and I think it's vice-versa too).

Unless there's something else explaining the increase in size on the DVD version (like the soundtrack consisiting of multiple languages), I think this is all there is. Razz

Fights are very hard, even on easy. But the gamepad works fine. Environments were very beautiful and awesome too. Graphics are fully ok. They remind me abit about Painkiller.

Is there any way that RELOADED Didn't crack the game probably?
After I fought this crazy chick the second time, the game just crashed.
After I started it again, the Prince is now some sort of Mummy or
like the comic hero Spawn without clothes. He's also loosing health permanently. Is there any solution against this bug?

I've read that too on the official boards:
Code:
http://forums.ubi.com/eve/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=400102&f=861108132&m=4311090842

But I didn't have this "bug" yet.

I'm stuck again Laughing

I'm at the part where i had to force one of the four legged mongrels to explode inadequately and caused a massive hole in a wall. So after I got down, beat some vampire hordes, and got few boxes with special items I got to the part where the wooden foot bridge collapses as you step on it so I used slow down time and go to the end of the path which is literally a dead end. There is a wall with a small crack and the rock that is in front of it (the one I end up standing on cause there’s no other way) just falls apart. There are some chains but I tried jumping on them and no luck. HELP ME! I've been on that part for a day now Crying or Very sad

I got this release some time ago, but i have some problems with it. The cutscenes they run so awful, like they freeze every 2 seconds, almost like a slideshow it´s horrible and later when i start the game it crashes. I have a 6800 GT, and I´ve checked the POP read me and it said that the game should run just fine on the Nvidia 61.77 drivers of july, well i tried that, still the same gayness. So i´ve checked some POP forums and it seems that every 6800 has this problem with POPWW as it had with POPSOT, i thought i wouldn´t have to experience such issues when i payed 500 euro for this card, damnit. Man, I hope Nvidia releases some new drivers soon or some kind of patch from ubi, i can´t play.

I also have a geforce 6800GT (the galaxy version), and the game runs very well with every driver I tried in the past days (even with the new 70.90 beta released today)
Try to update your video card drivers.
Oh, I have the dvd version of the game, I don't know if the movies run better on this version (judging by its size compared to the cd version of the game, I think the movie files are less compressed).
Confused
