It fixed my issue with the benq drive, no texture popins for me from hdd
Is this the only game ?
Maybe your hard drive is dying

disapointed that the only interesting feature (install to hhd) seems to be slower than loading from disc.. i mean how is that even possible, they must have spent some real effort in doing it slower lol

Installed DeadSpace, and it loads MUCH quicker. guess it's game dependant then!

Im wondering the same thing, my box is banned all I see is the pre release which is crippled because you cant play mkv - mp4 files streamed.

The link contains the latest version of the X360 dashboard, known as NXE. It's the real full dashboard, nothing more and nothing less.
The MPEG4-ASP decoder and avi demultiplexer were never part of the dashboard so it's likely that they are not linked installer either and need to be downloaded seperately via Xbox live.

are those updates avi and mpeg 4 installed on the hard drive or flashed like the dash?? because if thery are installed on the hard drive, I could flash to nxe, then put my hard drive in my friends 360 to get those updates correct?? please help?!?!

The updates stay on the hard drive. It should work if you update in other xbox.

I had to actually download that update separately last night so yes that file saves on to your HDD.
