No proper VirtualDub support for MKV, though... I don't know why these devs keep supporting AVI and MPEG1 only... They are shooting their legs with a double barreled shotgun.
Avidemux is advancing, but in its current form is way too slow and buggy for real use.
MPEG-1 and MPEG-4 ASP don't have multiple refs, b-pyramid, etc.
And yeah, Avidemux isn't perfect but they intend to address those issues in version 2.5, whenever that is.
