Anyone have any suggestion for an easy program for cutting out sequences from various movie formats?


shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Avidemux perhaps.
I sometimes use Cut Assistant as a front-end to the CLI programs it supports.
But specialized apps for each format isn't a bad idea.

No proper VirtualDub support for MKV, though... I don't know why these devs keep supporting AVI and MPEG1 only... They are shooting their legs with a double barreled shotgun.

Avidemux is advancing, but in its current form is way too slow and buggy for real use.

MPEG-1 and MPEG-4 ASP don't have multiple refs, b-pyramid, etc. Wink
And yeah, Avidemux isn't perfect but they intend to address those issues in version 2.5, whenever that is.
