so is this game any fun at all? tank sim sounds fun but from the screens I say, the graphics arent all that nice...still, the game could be fun. So anyone played? If it sucks, please tell us why it sucks

I played the first release through. i like such strategy games why its real strategy not like CQC and other crappy games.i think is a must have for strategy gamers.now i have to look whats new(mods,missions,campaigns) for that since i played the first releaselong time ago.

Its diferent.
ToW emulates real data for distance and ballistics - its a hardcore tactical game but still an RTS (infantry fighting is a bit off) no mortars, no smoke infantrey cannot use buildings
Fow uses a scale of 1/10 and point based hit damage but as better Infantry control full destructability and all the things ToW lacks but in an arcadish way ( still no as CoH)
I would also look in to" Men of War" for a balance between this 2

It's not a tank simulator...its a strategy game.
Imo best strategy is Combat Mission (also published by battlefront) - which kicks this games arse.
After buying both Theatre Of War and Shockforce from Battlefront...i've lost my faith in them  |

i have these games too m8... but can you tell me if the t34 vs tiger and steel fury are the same game but with different name?

I didnt see t-43 vs tiger released..... where was that ?
I see german version but thats it... and a flt one that is unfinished on usenet eek bahh

It's two totally different games.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

yeah! Steel Fury (Kharkov) is better game than TvsT , better optimized and polished... hope TvsT will get many mods and a patch for make it better.
