sbound, i like the game too. But there is too much truth to the criticism sadly. It s really worse than carbon, but still better than pro street. Surprisingly i still somewhat enjoy it and will play some more, maybe even finish it, considering how easy it actually is.

lol same here, dont really like these modes.
Right now im playing with a 360 controller,
and I must say, gameplay is much better with it.
Analog steering and acceleration is a must. (can finally test my cars topspeed  )
Strange thing about this, analog steering doenst work with my ps2 pad.
it works like digital, fucked up programming.
When using a 360 controller, some control options are also missing,
Like, Vibration, Sensitivity etc.

Can you help me please - the HDD is working very hard whan I play, and the game stutters/lag in that time the HDD is strugeling.
There is no diffrent what grafic setting or resolution.
No other new games does this.
What is the problem? Is it searching something, like EA account or smth?
P4, 2GB RAM, 7600GT, 120GB HDD IDE
Sorry for my bad Inglis and I know my computer is crap:)

Are you using the reloaded crack?
If not try that!

i dont understand why ppl whine about ohh the world fasterst car in world cant outrun the cops...
1 : this is an arcade game
2 : how fun would cop chases be if u could outrun every1 and everything within 20sec?
if you want realistic racing look somewhere else i say
and btw some1 said game is too easy? have those ppl made it up to tier2 and tier1 cars? coz i have to drive like a god to win most races with my bugatti (i havent bought all the performance upgrades thoo)

I´am using the Reloaded crack and I tried the others too, but there is no difference.
I unplugged the net cable and it went a bit better - I hope the patch will fix my problem.

Maybe because you know, that's how a "Chase" works? When police are in pursuit does it make sense to hide under a bridge or put a massive gap between the two of you with a Corvette? This is called THE NEED FOR SPEED.

You /should/ at least be able to outrun the fkin SUV's. I can see the Porsches and the GTR's keeping pace but not a fkin 3 ton tahoe or whatever they are. There's a difference between arcade and absurd. BTW the Veyron handles like a turd on rollerskates. Get a Zonda and spend the ballance on upgrades.

Are there real Porsche and Corvette police cars? I had wandered about this ever since the first Hot Pursuit... Because the shits they drive here can't keep up even with Ladas.

That's a Gallardo hardly can keep up with a Porsche...  But still interesting:

The frame drops make this game unplayable for me. I won't downgrade my driver because this new driver is great with Fallout 3 (crashes with pre-180 drivers) and Far Cry 2 and basically everything BUT NFSUC. I'm waiting for a patch or a new driver.

The Gillardo also has a higher top speed, and faster acceleration (0-60/0-100). To get that from a fat bottomed porker you need to rip everything out bar the stearing wheel. The GT3 is virtualy race spec, where as the Lambo still has all the creature comforts. If you were to strip a Gillardo out to the bear essentials it would pwn perhaps even a Carerra GT.

Hmh, just gave it my first run. It isn't half as bad as peeps made it sound Dropping world effect to medium (to get rid of blur) and brightness to 40% (my lcd is tuned right) makes it kinda ok. Yeah the shadows are bloody awful and the world textures are bad and it's still over bloomy. Without bloom though it was too dark and bland so have to live with it.
Now the funny thing is there is a steering sensitivity setting, just hidden in the setup. -5 on springs and -5 on grip made it drivable on keyb (tune more for your liking) But default setup was way too sensitive.
They did actually use ProStreet physics on this, first thing I did was to try some doughnuts and J-turns. They work just like in ProStreet and engine sound is real familiar too I have no idea why they didn't use the graphics engine out of ProStreet too, probably because this was started before it was finished? It would have made world a difference, this game is buggy. Get those weird frame drops once in a while and ugly white graphics glitches, but overall it's very playable.
Maybe it was a wish on the official forums to start with a fast car, the first one goes like mad stock. It also makes the game start so easy and different like any before. Yes the Golf GTi start was repetitive and boring, but this feels like you have played 50% of the game already and driving some 911 Turbo.
Absolutely hate the no main menu, what a silly idea. GPS map works like a new menu mother once your biological one dumbed you of some ricer hood. Save is also hidden stupidly, was afraid to exit the game as I had no idea where the last autosave was made (after each event?).
TAB is kinda funny, first thin I pressed after the intro drive was it (to sort of see objectives) and racing I went. Now I get the tab tab tab thing early in this thread Free roam is now only to test your new tuning and setup and work quite well for it. If you like it just tab, if you don't back to gps map/cars/performance/tuning and try again.
Overall the GUI is stupid, I want to esc out of menu levels, no backspace them. Left hand is useless now and I'm not young enough to wank to the new NFS girl with it (+you hardly see her at all) nor is there any ProStreet babes grinding away.
This seems like a game you drive a bit and then do something else. Take couple seconds to get a race and can start the next one instantly. It's also kind enough to fix your car before the race, if you happen to find a cop between the races or just fool around. Have to play more to know if I like it or not, but it's miles better than Carbon was.

the game is indeed not that bad, it sometimes gives the feeling this was not finished
but other then that, its still fun to play
not the best nfs, but some other devs try to make an nfs clone, fail more then this has failed!
consoles have been invented for emptyheads
