that's the prob with every gta game tho. they pack it with shit, they don't do a lot of testing. every gta release was flawed. Bugs. Slowdowns. Crashes. Glitches. Etc. Etc. Etc. They just get the game done, mash it up, release it, and that's that. There's yet to be a perfect GTA game.
Well, putting aside R* being obvious punks when porting, maybe it's driver-related? The performance I mean? Maybe nV and AMD have to release some never drivers written specially for GTA?

Theres internal Q&A sorting out this, working together with companies like nvidia and amd, sending bug reports and stuff like that when theres bugs relating to drivers.
Theres no excuse for this mess they call an 'epic game'.
True enough, was just lurking for some 'normal' explanation of this epic ga... *ekhm*, fail.
Come now, theres people with GTX 280 cards only being reported by the game as having 512 mb ram thus not allowing them to set high graphics without the -norestrictions parameter.
I myself have 4gb GDDR5 ram, 2gb on each card. But due to probably rockstar messing up it will only use 1gb on one card and thus also only using 1 gpu out of 2 possible on that card.
A friend of mine have 3x280GTX in a trisli system but he only gets reported as having 1gb ram so sli isn't working either.
Face it, this game shouldn't have been released in the state it is, it's only passable as a playable beta.
reloaded wil be fix the game they fix nfs they can fix gta
maybe they can but gta is different from nfs. nfs like all EA games don't use live online. i guess if gta don't used ms live it's now was already proper cracked

the first three were awesome and pretty bugfree for me. Rockstable too. Vice City and San Andreas were also pretty bugfree and ran fine.
most recent games - like for a year now - have had a tendency to suck though, when it comes to crashes and bugs. I guess QA is either getting harder or getting overlooked more

They played fine. You could beat the game, here and there. but they were glitchy. All of them. Playable. Fun. Everything. But still all glitchy and with bugs.

from what i remember the pc versions were less glitchy than their console-counterparts, so as a pc gamer, i m fine with that. Hopefully it s the same with the new one. And if the performance will be better with a cracked version, i salute that as well
