Serial isn't required as far as I know, Social Club doesn't require one (And can be used offline) and G4W:L can also use a offline account without serial, will disable MP, that camera editor (Or perhaps just the ability to upload and share them.) and achievements though.
In fact signing in with social club as offline will start the game a bit quicker as the main menu won't need to wait for the latest news updates and so on.

Yep. We are all playing and having fun. Games runs on full high at 100fps with my 6600GT 128mb video card. Best port ever! Rockstar owns!

I guess we don't need to download the whole release again.
Get a tool like UltraISO, open .iso of disk 1 then save as Alcohol image, then copy right topology to the same folder. Mount the image.
So all we need is the correct .mds file.

there's no way to start the game by running the launchgtaiv shortcut.
you always have to go through social club.
therefore, it's useless to add "-norestrictions" to the launchgtaiv shortcut if you can't start the game with the shortcut.
anyone able to get around this????
