For those getting fatal handle exception errors... convert this to a Clone CD image and install Windows XP Service Pack 2.
For those getting cannot initialize or run process errors... just intall Windows XP Service Pack 2. It seems this game is dependant on SP 2.
BTW... anyone know if cheats are released yet for this game? Its quite easy but I'm looking to see my FPS.

Seriously jakroo99, use you head, delete the totally useless image. :/
It's bad enough when people say "I'm leeching this or that" but to also post a huge image, god, that's just too much.
I think enemies are way too unbalanced in this game. I had to shoot a shitload of bullets in a guard with the shotgun for him to go down. Maybe they have some super duper armor or something?

Yea but theres a problem with the shotgun. Sometimes after one shot it reloads automatically, than other times you just fire away.
Took me 6 hours to beat it. No deaths at all, I just spent the whole time in stealth mode. I use the assault rifle... than come up behind them snap their neck, and throw them on the floor. Usually guards come in groups of 5. Shoot the 3 in the front, than shoot the other 2 in the balls, clear.
I hate thoes fuckin naked guys in the pit. Back peddle and blow their head off.

nah, i dont agree at all. Its much more like Doom3 than DX. sure, Riddick has stealth, that's the main difference. I was making the comparison mostly because of the grapics (which has some similarities).. People that enjoy FPS games will enjoy Riddick, i dont think most FPS fanatics would enjoy a game like DX or System Shock because its much deeper / complex and nothing you'll finish in 6-7 hours..
The stealth in Riddick isnt really that big of a deal and its just as linear as any other FPS, it's not a very complex game at all. The "adventure elements" (  ) is just "find that for me", "kill him", "open that".. all FPS games has this, even Doom3. I even think (know) its much more reading in Doom3 than in Riddick..

I for one like this game but hate the shadows. Runs pretty smooth on my top of the line, 2002, machine. So I can't complain. It's fun and I love the cg's  Though I must say the whole first person/third person rotation as you do certain tasks pissed me off at first then I grew accustomed to riddicks hot masculine body.

It's not about how much reading there is or how long the game is. It's about the gameplay. There is nothing besides pure action in doom3, you dont even have a choice  and that is not the case in riddick. Leaving the player with choices makes the game different, even if the choices are few. Maybe deus ex was a bad example when i think about it, a better example would be any fps game basicly that is not focusing on 100% pure action like doom3. Farcry and HL2 forexample resembles riddick much more than doom3.
The graphics however do resemble doom3 alot.

Can anyone confirm this? I don't want the crappy SP2 on my computer. If this is true I will play my Xbox version and won't grab this.

well it didn't work on sp1 of xp then i installed sp2 and i've been playing ever since
though if you look in the technical section of this forum someone posted a tip how to make it work without installing sp2... check it out
