I have Vista 64bits SP2 beta and no problems. Sometimes even think it runs better. So maybe the SP2 isn't the problem?

We are putting this out because we can. We already made our money on the console releases and we're just mopping up the last little cash from pc sales. We know it's going to get pirated to shit so we're going to drop some copy protection on it and we're not going to work too hard or spend too much money on making it run as good as it could have. Enjoy if you can because we don't care if you or the pirates do even if we just break even.

PS get a fucking console already.

Sounds like R* but its most likely a fake...

"Most likely"?

What, the whole "PS get a fucking console already" didn't give it away?

I said "most likely" since its still plausible. Its not like its impossible they ever make a statement like that, just highly unlikely...

Using the Razor loader? Create a txt file called commandline.txt in the main directory (the one with gtaiv.exe and launchgtaiv.exe)

Put the commands in there, on one line.

ie; -novblank -norestrictions -nomemrestrict

etc etc.

ONE line. Not two.

-norestrictions -nomemrestrict

Save. Done.

Once you have that, you'll be able to increase all the settings you want (you'll hate yourself - and Rockstar - for it though Razz)

Yep! To the best my knowledge, all G4WL keys are interchangeable -- and because UAW was released under the G4WL banner (just like The Club and Shadowrun) then the key will work. 5€? Nice little bargain there. Shite game, but worth it for the key.. hehehe.

Just remember, the games that work are "Games For Windows Live!" -- and NOT "Games For Windows" There's a huge difference (read: one works, the other doesn't)

Strange because I tried two The Club keys on the game and both were rejected. I know I didn't make a mistake because I still have them in my email from when Sega gave them to me and triple checked both of them after they were rejected.

Did Sega give me invalid keys? Confused

I'm not sure bud, but my The Club key worked perfectly to register GTA-IV. If I had the balls to create a RSSC account, I'd be online playing the game.

You definitely typed the key into the Windows Live request? :-\

Is anyone else having very long loading times? When entering the game the slideshow goes through 4-6 characters. Someone at work told me that it only goes though like 2 for him and that the loading screens ingame are very brief. I get them for like 15 seconds each.

Is this normal?

Whomever told you that, lied, IMO.

I get the same as you, around 4 slides of characters and a 10-15s load time. So unless he's running the game off an SSD, then don't believe him.

about that MSG4W-flag, also Frontlines: Fuel Of War (7€) has also that MSG4W flag on it, just as Bioshock (15e)

Without a doubt I can order all 3 games, just 27e, use them online seperately, with their own key, plus even 2 of my mates and myself could unlock a fully online working GTA iV, or am I going a little crazy about it!? Laughing

thought to have read it somewhere, a working key could be used over and over, at different titles from MS!? Question

As long as the game itself uses the key for G4WL, then theoretically.. yes. All I know is that my "The Club" keys have so far unlocked GTA4 and Fallout 3.

guess I read it out of one of your posts, and for those 27€ having 3 legit copies of quiet good titles is also a bargain, even if the keys dont work... Very Happy

Hmm... Interesting. He's using XP so naturally he blamed it on my Vista... It'll still be interesting to hear what times other people are having.

Good to know about that G4WL interchangeable keys thing by the way. Too bad I didn't take advantage of that accidental "The Club" cd-key give away thing a while ago...

Was thinking that maybe only SEGA The Club keys were working, but I read about HALO2 also, so I take my changes, will report it here offcourse Wink

Its a onlineshop for that toystore, but first tomorrow I go to 2 stores here in my city, maybe in one of the budgetbins.. I guess Suckstar better invested those 2 grands in unique keys Laughing

I spammed the free-giveaway from Sega to all my friends, checked it, didnt like it, and probably junked my mail Rolling Eyes
