I recommend using FeD0R launcher instead of the Razor crack.

Yup yup. Installed patch and just started social club like I normally do here.
Feels really weird having proper controls back. Actually having brake and accelerator in the right place now feels wrong. Lol.

Performance is the same though, and i got issues with sound now, i can only hear music wtf, need to check if it happens again.

OK, switching from modded to original files got it working again but it wasn't worth the effort. Shadows are still screwed up, as is the internet and the pool hall.

leave the crack in the install folder and patch again.

Is the patch worth installing!? With only 512mb vga ram on my 4870 OC i can only up the resolution to 1680x1050, is 1920x1200 a selectable resolution after patching, or still not!?
(I know the commandline, but still..)
How about the missing textures and stuff!? Read on our dutch forum that after running the benchmark ingame, the sound dissappeared!? After a week of tweaking I've got it running quiet good so I dont want to start all over... 
and also, my rig's running on 2x1gb ddr2, and there are 2 same banks here laying around that I could build in, will that have any improvements, dont really get HDD slowdowns or whatever, but could it help with the textureproblems, I guess if it's a memoryleak, its just a matter of time...!?

what I've read is that you can apply the patch, even with the crack installed,while you will get your problems if you dont.. So i guess we can install it without any problems, Is there a version number inside that is highered?!
the original exe isnt effected, so the loader is a great fix after all...

please can someone help me because when i was using 32 system it worked no problem but now i have upgraded to 64bit system i keep getting this error gta iv fatal error dd3d30 plus i have no option but to upgrade as i now have 8 gig of memory please i need to get this fixed for my kids ....they are moaning at me all day.

useless patch, as expected
no increase in performance at all, the game is still the same
it remains unplayable for me, I do get 25-30fps outside but as soon as its night and I turn on the car lights it goes down to 13-19fps again even on lowest details

Great game, terrible port. I'll probably install it in a few months down the road, when(and if) it is properly patched or when I get new hardware.

There's a more recent "Beta 3" version available as well, supposedly fixes some things and improves performance further in certain titles but a lot of people have had problems with it from what I've read.
