Yeh, so I've been dealing with this C902 for a while now, and to be honest i've forgotten why I bought it...

It's difficult to text due to a very firm keypad, and the best internet browsing experience I can get is Opera Mini. On top of this, i've also been carrying around a 16gb iPod Touch.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I decided i'd buy a iPhone 3g 16gb and sell my C902 and Touch...

Luckily, I just noticed a 20% off voucher in my eBay inbox - w00t I thought. The search began for a legit iPhone 3g 16gb sale - I found one - but it was white... Who cares I thought! It has a 7 month warranty with the Apple store, however it was replaced (under warranty in November) so the phone itself is a month old.

Furthermore, it's only been used for 2 weeks (as a spare - rich cunt!) and the pictures support this.

So, I see the white iPhone - listed at £400. Now, I know this is more than the new RRP price since the tax cut, but it doesn't matter as i've got a 20% voucher. I put in an offer at £350 and it's auto accepted - great! £350 - 20% = £270.

Let's just hope it turns up - cannot wait! (p.s the seller seems legit- but you can never be 10000% with ebay.) (she's covered for £500 paypal protection anyway so I'm not worried).

w00t - see you on the other side! (on wednesday when it arrives)

gratz! I was considering iphone for sometime but i have somewhat fat fingers and it would make texting not soo much fun considering i use about 3k a month

bought sidekick that has qwerty keyboard to make it all easier

iphone is actually not that bad phone but lacks bluetooth, people just hate it b/c it carrier apple name, although my friend has it his get unlocked and after he upgrade firmwire to 2.1 he had to spent another 50$ to get it unlocked again ;p

ohh and get this application that when you shake the phone, picture of naked women uncovers...just like you were to fap..good stuff

Hmm is my maths wrong 20% £350 Should = £280. Not £270
10% of £350 = 35 so 20% will = 70
350 - 70 = 280

Why would I carry around a C902 phone and a iPod Touch when I can combine carry around one device at a similar cost?

I saw commercial about Samsung M8800 Pixon. It looks wicked (and the 8MP camera!?). Altho I don't like touchscreens, they seem fragile...

I just bought my girlfriend the G1 like a couple of weeks ago, we've been having a lot of fun with that too.

I don't like the actual design too much, but the slideout keyboard is pretty solid and of course Android is an up and comer.

So I can vouch for the coolness of the G1 also. Wink

Anything with a bug that echo's all text input into a command line.. is well.. just not going on my "must buy list".. I mean seriously, that shit could have lost people lost of personal data and money.. madness that it was allowed to hit phones.

Google have a lot of work to cover before I forgive that Razz.. Personally, I think android and the G1 are not worth the time. Android needs more development time and the HTC phone used for the G1 is pretty horrid. I'll be waiting on the next gen.. The IPhone 3G is decent, not perfect by any means but at this point in time it beats the G1.. That will change though, I have no doubt about it, the next gen google phone will be a winner I'm sure.

No point in wasting money on a new phone when my current on works fine. Smile

Congrats Dee Smile

Well Syco, i'm not sure i'm going to be able to do much. The iPhone is on 2.2 so I'm assuming I can't install Cydia / jail break it. I don't know much about jailbreaking anyway, and haven't really seen a good argument for doing it either...
