What are the graphics/physics like in this? I'm not expecting anything as good as GTA4 but i'm also hoping it isn't as badly optimised either. Maybe something in between SA and GTA4?

auth works with steam. not good, but better than securom drm shit
I played the game for about 10 mins on Xbox360, Graphics aren't as detailed as GTA iv nor is Ragdoll as good as euphoria, but it still was quite fun to play.

Euphoria is not a physics engine. Therefor, Euphoria is not what makes the ragdolls.
The game is not graphically as good as GTA IV, but it sure is a hell of a lot more fun.

Err, GTA IV online blows? It's the most fun I've had in years lol...
Will be fun seeing if this game will be better online. I just hope it's as good as GTA IV is online.
all i can say the net play was free have like 300 keys from segas key-gen mania
300 keys!! do u know how many Nforce members asked for someone to kindly donate a key. you only need one to register every game as they can be used over and over again.
Having been given a release date of 'the first week of January' 2009 for the PC port, it has also been revealed that the game will be using Steam as its primary (and apparently only) form of DRM, which will please many PC gamers.
Probably like the other Steam titles you use Steam itself to launch it.
(Can perhaps be emulated as well unless it uses some custom protection, various Steam patchers and such stuff.)
At least COOP is exactly like Single Player and not crappy like GTA IV...
GTA IV COOP was total crap... ... Far from fun...
Having to restart every time and just choosing a mission...Boring...
The driving mechanics in GTA4 are fucking appalling. Worse driving game in history. I'd rather play Pole Position on the Atari 2600. At least then when you press left or right, the car MOVES.
I can't believe there's a single person alive who LIKES the driving in GTA4.
First off, euphoria IS an physics engine. Sure, it works with other engines like havoc (star wars) but in GTA 4 euphoria handles all the physics of people and objects and to a degree also the cars.
Secondly, the driving in GTA4 is SPOT ON. Cars have weight, inertia and a working REALISTIC suspention. The saintsrow series has probably one of the worst car physics in an open world game (Dirt and GRID takes home that prize though), it's erratic, inconsistent and very ridgid and booring. In GTA4 you can have everything from wobbly vans and half-assed lowriders to sportsvans and sportscars, all working under the same laws and principels yet vastly different in their own ways.
