I agree with something Bill Maher said, above everything else, religion is a mental disorder and people who suffer from it, should be treated like any other psychiatric disease.

yeah man. Thats what my brother and his wife believe, creationism....its fuckin sad. Cuz before her, he had nothing to do with any religion and thought it was all bullshit. He marries her (in her cult church) and now, every single time I see him he asks me "So, are you ready to accept Jesus into your life?" and thats when the fighting starts.....

Hence the reason I teach my niece about religion. Not my views, just facts about christianity and such and she'll come to the same conclusions I did around her age (i grew up catholic).

from now on, everytime you see your brother, before he says anything, you just promptly ask him, "so, are you ready to accept rationality into your life or should I make an appointment to a Psychiatrist", after some time of you constantly asking him that, he should get the point., afterwards you can still punch him Laughing

hahahaha Laughing Think I will say something like that lol Smile

Religulous - 9/10 hilarious and insightful, and I normally dislike/disagree with Bill Maher. The part where the pothead lights his hair on fire had me rolling.

Milk 7/10 , wasnt really impressed by it

Seven Pounds 6/10 , ditto , it tried to be touching but it just fell short

Appaloosa 6/10 , after watching movies like The Proposition and Assasination of Jesse James , Appaloosa wasnt really appealing to me , i found the classic story was to much of a cliche for me

Man on Wire - after all these asslicking reviews i saw the damn thing , dunno , wasnt really touched or some shit , but the overall production and tone with the help of it's great soundtrack really helped it achieve 8.5/10

Benjamin Button 8 to 8.5 /10 , i'm a huge david fincher fan , i really enjoyed it , yet i found that something was missing , or it jumped from funny to something sad , i would have preffered it to be a depressing ride all the way

Hurvamorden 9/10 - Ernst Hugo in his prime. No movie music, and the tension, atmosphere and suspense is amazing. Just goes to show how really good movies can be made without all the special effects and snap-snap editing.

I also think fisk should be unbanned.

that's an easy movie to score... count all the letters you used. you get a large number. and use that large number out of 10 and that's your score. 64/10

Revolutionary Road - 9.8/10

Great and powerful story, it feels so damn real, the acting and screenplay was so real and so raw that it just felt like reality.

before watching the movie, I hear about all of the reviews praising Kate Winslet portrait, but the truth is, despite of her outstanding perfomance, the movie acting is 10/10, Dicaprio really suprised me in this one, Kathy Bates always giving a perfect perfomance as expected, and Michael Shannon (the "crazy" guy), almost steals the screen in his few scenes.

the movie is overall extremely good, and on a personal note, I just love these movies where the guy portraying a crazy person seems like the most rational and saner person around.

strongly recommend this one.

Religilous 7/10

A little too much of a mockumentary but it was very entertaining. The Horus bit was a bit dissappointing, though. Poor research.
