I was going to make a ghost image of my C and send the image on my D but it fuckin wiped out all my D drive so i basicly lost everything like movies, games...

Is there a way to undo that????

Im using Norton Ghost 12 and used the "Copy my Hard Drive" feature. when i saw the D drive disapear on "My Computer", i canceled the tasked. Now when i go on "My Computer" it says that my D is not formated and ask if i want to format it. I also tried "System Restore" without success

Sux! Programs don't always behave the way you want/expect them to do and I learnt that the hard way while doing an XP reinstall with a secondary drive connected. Specifically remember telling setup to only format the primary drive but yet when windows started I got the dreaded 'drive is not formatted. Do you fucking want to go ahead and fucking format the fucking drive that windows was specifically asked not to fucking format but still went ahead and fucking formatted anyway so as to fucking complete the complete fuck-up of your drive". Now whenever I do any drive level installations like partitioning I disconnect all non-required drives.

The data is probably still on your drive but getting it back is not easy. This would be a good time to try out if all those recovery programs on Hiren's Boot CD actually work.

my friend uses a recovery problem. not sure on the program. u could try 1 but chances are slim. because some formats are completely wipped the drive. some only formats the top layers so possible of recovery.

give it a try
