you need the crackfix.
someone said that the patch changes only the exe, so if that's correct, after using the crackfix, you'll be playing the unpatched version anyway.

You can disable it on medium...


the interactuable/"preferable path" objects remain in red always?

Overwritted the original exe (No patch) with the Crackfix and still the same shit,splash load thing and no game after...¬¬...

At this point, the patch is useless without a crack. Even if you apply it, the crack will neutralize its effect.

Nope...if you disable "runner´s view" or something like that in the options menu Razz .

EDIT: Ok, remember that the red path still shows even with it disabled in the tutorial level, but after that it dissapears.

Did all of the above, and still nothing, I get the same error, nothing's changed. I can still play the game with the first reloaded crack, but the crackfix is simply not working, not in compatibility mode or normal. Turning physx on/off also doesn't work. I even tried different crackfixes, none of them work. I am truly without ideas.
I'm getting a version of the game from a different source than last time, hopefully that works because there's nothing else I can do.

I'm getting the feeling it's Bioshock all over again, just works on about half of computers.

EDIT: Downloading every single crackfix on the web, if none of them work, I'm sticking to solitaire.

Game runs very nice and smoothly here ~~~60 fps 1680x1050, aax4. Up the 4th level I guess I could use PhysX on. Then, the hitching started and once I turned the PhysX off the game still runs perfect and I'm loving it. Really considering buying it in due time. Smile

There is a crack made by a user called DarkVash that fixes both the slowdown on the heat level and enables you to run Physx, just finshed the heat level with full physx and not a single freeze or slowdown.

Anyone got problems with logitech rumblepad? Game doesen't allow me to customize gamepad keys and default are fucked for me. Back on stick moves me forward and vice versa.

So we've seen the visual difference between physx on and physx off but what's the fps decrease ?
