Get this. I have a week off next week, so my GF decided to take the week off too. We both get pay day tomorrow and plan on going straight to the supermarket and stocking up on supplies (drinks, sweets, chocolate, pizza, etc).
Why you ask?
Well to be honest, its pretty damn sad. But fuck it, I'm a lazy bastard at heart and well, you only live once. After all this shit you mo'fuckers have been banging on about 24 being the shiznit, Jack Bauer being like the ultimate badass, were going to watch all 7 seasons, in one week. That shit is 168 hours worth of Jack Bauer. We just got done watching dexter season 1-3 (second time for me). To be honest, I dont know why the hell I agreed to this shit, there is probably so much more we could do with a week but what the hell. Sex, Jack Bauer, chocolate and booze for a whole god damn week  
Of course, you know how 'I' do it, I aint paying for this shit
My ISP is gonna be mad as hell when I bust through the download limit.
168 hours man. Damn!

You realise that 7 x 24 also happens to be the number of actual hours in a week? Those last few seasons are going to be torture.

yes, but as DP stated each ep is like 40 mins. like 120 hours.. and theres not much season 7 yet SO. Probably get to like season 5 at least.

Five seasons is probably a good target. Remember to schedule rest breaks, time to eat and rehydrate. And don't forget that chicks spend a lot longer in the bathroom, so maybe aim for 4 seasons.

LOL I just watched the first 5 seasons of "24". It took me about 3 weeks to get through them. Missus was pissed though always with the words: Oh fuck you, you are going back to that Jack Kiefer guy.
Great series though. Better than prison break etc.

watching 6+ seasons in a row of 24 sounds more like torture than a good time
maybe try 5 seasons of The Wire instead?

i wouldn't have the patience for something like a tv series marathon. i get bored with most stuff after a few hours, except gaming(depends) and browsing. heh, even sex gets boring if you keep at it for too long.
but people like to do different things with their time, so, seeing as they both wanna do this, they'll prolly enjoy it.

Watching it for the first time now (2nd season atm) and it's not completely bad. Of course I have to skip through the abysmal theme sequence every time, and the cast isn't imo very memorable (except for Phlox, he's pretty good), but I'd say it's still somewhat decent.
Of course the other ST series are much better, but I still remember those well enough that they aren't an option right now - and there's nothing else to watch right now, either.

Haha nice man, i tought i was a hardcore 24 fan, i was hooked the minute i saw the series and i watched season 1 dvd box without any breaks but that was as much as i did for watching a lot of episodes, since then i just downloaded them every week. Well goodluck and have fun, jack rocks!!!!
