What inauguration speech did you watch man?
Still, he did focus more on reaching out to allies and becoming more involved in the international community but it's because the US has to or they are gunna tank. They can't afford any more wars, much less the one's that are going on. Their economy is in the tank. Healthcare and education is shit.
They need to have their allies support them so they can, essentially, rebuild. If they kept to the bush way, 4 more years and there would be a mass exdous from the US lol
But what annoys me (and apparently alot of ppl) is the stupid religious shit they bring into the whole thing. In Canada, it would be political suicide. Religion should have nothing to do with politics and governing. I don't mean the "God Bless America" stuff. I mean that first minister that spoke who runs the Saddleback church, specifically referring to 'Jesus Christ'....God is everyone's God ya know? When you start breaking it down into Jesus Christ or whatever main prophet of whatever religion, you alienate people.
Anyway, thats my opinion. Religion and politics have nothing to do with one another. And whats funny, the founding fathers of the US were against the church (for those who are gunna say Im talking bullshit, dont take my word for it, look it up...) and really for the separation between church and state.
