speaking about balls, maybe universal will actually do something with scarface 2 at some point, instead of letting the rights to the game just sit in a box somewhere
(i'm picturing a huge storeroom with thousands of stacked boxes, like the government warehouse that indy's artefacts end up in, at the end of every movie).

Godfather sucked donkey nuts compared to GTA....
I would imagine Godfather II would suck elephant nuts compared to GTA IV.

I would like to know where a good gfx makes a game good.. 20th century brought a very stupid idea to the world of video games.. fantastic gfx = fantastic game, and where we put the fun of the game in the middle of this? rather than a fantastic gfx like far cry or overrated crysis i prefer a game with a good story like fahrenheit or with a lot of fun like the old ones in 90 decade.

Another average game with very repetitive missions, 7.5 or 8.0 at best, brought to you by the ea crap factory. Instead of having to do one mission a thousand fucking times why not make an effort and give every mission a story and a briefing like in Mafia?

(Will probably run better though, hehe.) |
I wonder why that is... It's the same engine from Dead Space, so we know it can look good...

Well I wouldn't say it looks terrible or something but it's a bit behind the other titles I mentioned from the look of these screens.
Perhaps the engine used for Dead Space is good for close quarters like the cramped areas on that space ship but not so good for open environments like a full city?
(There's a bit of a difference, big open city with long view distance without objects needing to be rendered a few meters in front of you before fading into distant LOD models or something like that.)

Well so do i... I just stated that the gfx looked like shit, the gameplay is probably shit as well if it is anything like the first one.

As long as it doesn't share DS's crappy controls. |
Haha, well I didn't have any problem with the controls The only issue was a certain lag introduced by their bad VSYNC + 30fps hard lock implementation. That was easily fixed by D3DOverride. Other than that, there were no problems for me with the controls.

True as well, though this game seems a bit more mission based (Similar to the first game where you mainly did story missions and took over stores and such and only later in the game took on rival families.) but I guess it would be hard to do a accurate representation of the game via one mission or something like that.
EDIT: Or perhaps that was Mafia, similar situation with a very strong story but the main exploration was in the freeplay mode where you could also unlock extra stuff like vehicles by doing (Sometimes rather crazy.) missions.
