hmm
the game looks great, but I just wonder how long it is and if there's any replay value to it at all.

Not a horrible review for what the game is actually about, but I would rent it first.

Well if a year isn't considered long then yeah, it came out in August 2008 NTSC and IS coming out in August 2009 PAL.

This is probably the first game where sword combat gore is done properly, enemies split in half in the place you cut them. Just for this feature alone I can't wait to play this game, and also because I liked Afro Samurai anime.

I mean I liked Afro Samurai anime, I'm not big on anime in general. I only like a few of them.

it's not as good as the previous one. stil enjoyable but the surprise effect is missing and it's also less "heavy" to watch (some scenes in the first one were pretty harsh, i missed that in the sequel)

I watched Afro.Samurai.The.Movie.2007.Directors.Cut (runtime 112 min) a few weeks ago and I was amazed how boring it was. Afro was standing and doing nothing most of the time while his weird friend did a lot of not-funny jokes. The fights themselves were not very spectacular, the story was almost impossible to follow due to very bad dialogue. I don't get the hype.

Played it for about 30 minutes , plays like a god of war clone. The "Focus" is a cool addition to change up the button mashing a bit. I can see them doing cool things with it later in the game. Nice visuals and audio too. Def worth a burn, in my opinion of course.
