well...if you pres E ingame you will get some sort of shield(when you receive the power)..and if you press and hold E you will turn invisible(when you get the power)...i think E doesn't have anything to do with the glaive

Thanks... but then how do i use the Energy Pulse power of my glaive?
I know you have to throw the glaive in fire/ice or electricity first before you throw it away towards an enemy. But the subtitles clearly say smth in star language about using the E button. And i saw from the console versions that you need to throw your glaive at your enemy and press a button to use this power.
So the question is... if its not E button then which button is it? Confused

Don't know on the PC but on the PS3/x360 you click the right analog stick to use the EP when the glaive is enhanced with fire/electricity/ice. It's not a must though, you can get through the game without it.

Can the game be run on 64bit without using the starforce driver? I mean with some combination with yasu or something...?

Yes maybe the game can be finished without using the Energy Pulse Power.
But at the moment i'm fighting with the Final Boss in the last level and i think Energy Power will come handy to use here. Sad

The engery power can be used very well against the final boss Very Happy
It's a great game and its a pity it didn't get as much attention as it deserves.
Hopefully there will be a Darksector 2 Smile

There should be a second form for the glaive, like a sword or something. I feel like a fucking moron everytime i get surrounded because I have to hop away like a fucking rabbit to a safer distance to effectively use the glaive.

considering that the install instructions contains this...

Go to the Control Panel>>Printers and other Hardware>>add
Hardware>>Next>>Yes,I have already connected the hardware>>Next>>Add New Hardware>>Next>>
Install The Hardware that I manually select from a list (advanced)>>next>>Show all devices>>
Have disk>>click browse>> search file in Starforcefolder/dev000.inf>>Open >>OK >>
Next>>Finish
Default language: Russian(optional English)

i'd say it's exactly the same as the previous releases.

I just don't get it... I do exactly as the instructions say and I still can't get the game to start. When I try to, the game is "Checking Disk..." and then it says there is an attempt of using an emulation software.
Maybe it has to do something with the fact that when i install the FStarforce driver its status is "Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)"?

heh, yeah, maybe.. Smile

try uninstalling daemon tools and the anti-sf driver and the starforce driver (http://www.glop.org/starforce/remove.php)

reboot

install DT pro, the anti sf driver and then the game.

I still can't install the fstarforce driver properly, it keeps giving me this message. Also, I tried to uninstall the starforce driver, but apparently I don't have any...

the starforce drivers should be installed by the game. it should ask you whether you wanna install them or not (at the end of the installation, iirc)

Yes, it asked me and I said yes, but when i try to use the starforce driver removal utility it says "No protection drivers found to remove". Something's really weird Razz

look at the above link (glop.org). try the manual uninstall methods.
are you using xp 64, or vista, by any chance?

Nope. And I tried finding these files I'm suppose to delete, but couldn't trace them.

cant read instructions ? This will install those drivers that dont seem to when game is installed.

me also had problems to make it run, till i installed DT pro advanced.
with the dt pro it works like a charm and the nfo file not talking about dt pro at all, but looks like in some cases , this is a must.
till i used it, i had bsod or the message about the wrong cd ect.

so i say , try dt pro.
