I burned the NTSC version of Action Replay Max Evo, does a standard PC USB Memory Stick work with it?

When I press X on the "Max Memory Manager" option, the screen goes blank and then I get the PS2's red clouds screen asking me to insert a PS/PS2 disc. Is it because it doesn't find a memory stick and exits, or could there be a problem with the release? (Or possibly an incompatibility with my chipped v7?)

When you press on memory manager you shuld come to the memory manager screen regardless of what. You do keep the action replay cd in the ps2 when you access the memory manager right?
If you do and it still wont boot the memory manager you have a screwed copy.

About the USB key. Some standard USB key's work and some dont, do some research (google) and you will get some information on what brands work and so on.

Samsung USB memory stick did not work with Action Replay for me. Kingmax worked.

hhmm... anyone tried a SMC Card Reader and a 128MB SMC card with this?
