You should not buy a game just because you can't bypass the protection. Only if the game itself is worth it.

'We' is everyone wo doesn't like SF for whatever reason. This includes
1) Groups, because cracking it is a pain.
2) People who are downloading warez becaus they have to wait a long time for a propper crack.
3) and even many people who buy games, because SF causes a lot of troubles with the oiginal CDs too.

Do not buy Starforces protected games because Cause many troubles with older CDRom & dvd rom drives so we with scsi cdrom drives the only anthworth from manufacterers is buy a new cdrom drive your is to old! they are a total non respect of legaly PC game user. F*ck starforce & if no crack are avayable use starf*ck tool! boycot all starforce sh*t have fun and play pirated.

"1) Groups, because cracking it is a pain." -> do you think crackers are paid to crack ? A hard protection is some great food for them.
My point is that you shouldn't complain too much about. Because :
- many guys here download pirated games and don't support developpers (you are, sorry, we are the reason of the existence of SF3). I also buy the games I really like and play.
- SF3 is recent, so if you can play recent games this means you have a decent video card which is obviously more expensive than a recent dvd player/burner which is really cheap nowadays; so you shouldn't complain about hardware problem (when your hardware is old).

Of course it's needed! It seems some people still don't understand that you can only use Starfuck when you only have optical drives on one IDE channel....
