Great graphics\sound\cut-scenes.... no suttering and pausing like the demo.
Replica soldiers are much harder to kill then normal soldiers.
Im really enjoying this game, for me is better then first fear.

I love this game. It's not as good as the first but it's close. And damn, it's optimized a lot. I'm running everything maxed @ 1680*1050 and still play at 60FPS. Flawless. Sure, it's no Crysis, but it looks great nevertheless.

I won't call it bland, far from it, in my opinion it's better than most shooters.
It's also better than the first F.E.A.R

x2
the visuals are amazing, yes some textures look mediocre, but there are some very good effects, animations, etc really well done....
the new enemies "abominations" are pretty good.

x3, I thought I was the only one thinking this game looks great as a whole. Visuals and atmosphere is top notch.

I played half a game, and so far it's quite mediocre. Best then most shooters but not by much. Graphic, animations and sound are top notch no doubt. It reminds me a lot of FEAR 1, and that's quite upsetting since I expected something new and innovative. Going through the same looking corridors, shooting the same looking guys.
I'll give it a 8/10. IMO.

ok..i am posting this again cause i found solution so if any of you will have this prob, do this:
delete the game installation directory+ delete save game directory (not befor you back up your save point file located at the save/singleplayer directory.
install again the game and start the first mission to create new save game forlder.
exit the game and replace the backed up file with the new one that created and the 54% problem solved
I CAN KEEP PLAYING
(i just hope it will not happend again.)

So far im really liking the game, im not that far, only on interval 2, but everyone says second part is the best so it will only get better.
Love the gun fights, wish the weapons sounded a bit more menacing though. But hitting something leaves you satisfied once a bullet hits your target and you see all the blood spraying out.
Not the fan of the HUD but its just a minor complaint that will probably be fixed by modders.
So far enemies dont look smarter than fear 1's , most of them are rushing at me and only few took cover (im playing on medium btw).
Scares are still there, and are still fun but you always expect them now so they dont have the same impact as they did in fear 1. Most of them are "BOO, out of a closet with loud music" kind of scares. You kind of know its gonna happen, "oh look a long corridor with a door at the very end, i wonder what will happen". or bloody footsteps leading to a bathroom.
Controls are fine, but it does feel a bit consolish especially with the aiming sensitivity, i have it almost all the way to the left and it still feels too fast and not as precise as staple PC shooters, but it gets the job done.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

well then you havent played enough, because the things you say you dont like, they changed for the sequel.
its not the same looking corridors, and not the same enemies again for sure.

Since when is 8/10 mediocre? Surely if it's mediocre it should be 5/10?

With today's inflated ratings, 8/10 *is* mediocre.
