I burn all my 360 stuff using the older 2.4 speed Verbs, the trouble is I cant get hold of these anymore, only the 8x speed ones, has anyone had any problems burning the 8x discs at 2.4 speed? or should i just buy a new burner and burn them at full speed?

Thanks

Feck knows why you lads insist on using overpriced Verbatim D/L I have had my sons 360 for 18 months and always used the below or Ritek dual layers and never ever had a problem.

All burnt at 1x in clone (2.4x in reality)

I burn 8x verbs at 4x, but I also tried a few crappy brands just for the sake of it and my trusty Liteon reads anything without problems.

Benq and Lite-on can read any shit but... yes a BUT ....sometimes the "oh noes dirty disc" screen will pop up , HP disk burned in 2,4x with Darkness after the intro sequence goes to the dirty disc screen but when you install it to HDD it runs OK ...

SO burn on any shit and install on HDD and it runs fine Laughing

its a shame largest hd for 360 is only 120 gb. a 500 gb drive would be great.

I had tried some ritek and fuji discs, couldn't get my benq to read them. switched to verbs and no problems.

I don't mind paying $1 a disc instead of 50cents ... depending on the sale they're the same price anyways as the other DL media in my local shop (fuji, memorex).
