It rocks so much I actually bought this a few days after it came out.

And I secretly enjoyed that the 1.01+DLC wasn't cracked.

But this patch is LATE ... I'm not playing the game again. Maybe in a couple of years. Bioware scenarios redefine the word "epic" !

What is DLC?

If you are worried about it, just buy the damned thing. Only 30usd on steam. Well worth it.

It's 44.99€ for Europeans, which is 60.75 USD. Yeah... "only"...

If your in the UK and have a Zavvi closing down near you, get yourself down there. I picked up a copy for £3.99 the other day. Still haven't got round to opening and installing it though.

Might actually wait until the new patch is out before opening it....

Damn you! Razz

On a side note, if I were you, I'd feel the same, hehe.

Yeah, me too. My only problem with the first was that the main story was a bit short, especially compared to other Bioware titles. I really loved the lore though, it was very well thought out. And with the background fully explained in the first, maybe they'll spend more time on making a longer story. At least I hope so.

More DLC additions planned, with this and the recent announcement of a new patch I might reinstall the game again soon. Very Happy
(Completed most of it during my previous playtroughs but it was a great game.)

Awesome! I honestly thought they'd stopped at "Bringing Down the Sky" (which, IMO, got far too harsh a response. The pack was awesome and it added not only a brilliant new mission, but also added more tasters for ongoing stories)

This is gonna be good!

I just hope they offer more content this time around, I don't like these small dlc's you can play through in a heartbeat.

I have my original Mass Effect copy here, still waiting for the deauthorization tool.
This ( along with Fallout 3 ) were the 2 only games in 2008 that were worth every penny IMO.

Too bad those DLC's will not be for free like the first one. Crying or Very sad

You realize that the first DLC was free for the PC because this version was released 6 months after the 360 release, right?

Also, this is EA we are talking about here. You think EA would release this content free of charge?

For anyone who is still interested to play this with latest update 1.01a + Bring down the sky DLC

There is crack by TRiViUM for eastern europe version which uses Starforce

I used it with Reloaded release and have played without problems for 3 days, already have visited half of the planets including Asteroid X57

What you need is

Mass Effect (any release)
1.01a+BDtS patch (Eastern europe patch with english) i used english, czech, hungarian patch 1.01a (298MB) from http://www.patches-scrolls.de/mass_effect.php
trivium crack (google "Mass Effect + Bring Down the Sky [v1.0-v1.1 RU] NoDVD") You only need masseffect.exe from it, there is no need to run included bat/extractor.exe, unless you use eastern europe version of me

oh, I own the game so it doesn't matter to me. Have the DLC already, beat enough times....its not that big a deal. Takes an hour to beat (without a trainer).

I thought you guys were talking about new DLC. Cause I was reading the Bioware (I think it was Bioware, whatever company that makes the game) forums and there was speculation of one more DLC package before ME2 is released.

Details on the DLC and sequel, for example save games can carry over.
(Won't that be unbalancing as a LVL 60 team would probably kill everything unless the game scales and gives access to the higher difficulties.)

Wasn't that advertised from the very start (and people have been maxing their characters as soon as the game was out) so I'm sure Bioware has taken it under consideration. I suppose higher difficulties available right away would be the easiest way to go about it.

Where did you get the Normandy being destroyed from? The Geth has a piece of Shepard's bloody armor.
