When they said Alma has needs I didn't think they meant it literally.
LOL"fucking ending".

Please can someone upload the file gameclient.dll from the JBeckam files? Everytime I download the files from sendspace I get error in the download and only that file is damaged.
Or you can upload the entire JBeckam file to another server (megaupload etc)?
Thanks a lot.

Thank you VGAdeadcafe but how is this possible? I download from that mirror and I get the same error! Only in the gameclient.dll file.

if you mean retail as in "not a beta", then no, the DIE release is retail.
if you mean retail as in a clone of the retail DVDs then yes, the DIE release is a steam rip.
But if you'd aquire the Retail-Clone Release (which was floating around since a few days, Russion aka TL), then you'd have to go through to same steps as DIE, because as mentioned before a thousand times, the retail version (on the shelves) NEEDS steam to unlock.

And if you have a cracked Steam with a blank account? Can I just install, or I need the serial in order for it to work?

Would re-uploading the archive as a .zip work? compression would be worse so the file would be a bit bigger but it's not much of a difference compared to for example .7z compression.
EDIT: TexMod editing has also proven very useful for altering for example the HUD appearance by removing those extra bars or removing grain filter, still testing a few things to see how stable it is as I had a crash when TexMod was active.
EDIT: And here's the zip version of the archive, SendSpace might not be the best in regards to download speeds and similar but you avoid countdown timers and numerous ads (The few that exist can usually be blocked.) plus you don't need to enter any verification codes.
(Like Rapidshare or Megaupload.)

@ Adol
It's probably your antivirus detecting the file. Disable it. Or download it from a different PC/OS ...

i give it a 4.0 for the boring gameplay , 2.0 for the story , 9.0 for graphics , 10 for sound effects and 3.0 for making it a 5h game = this game is only a 5.6/10 on my scale

Maibe if someone can pass me the gameclient.dll from the JBeckam files, I think it is the only one I dont have. I must go to work now so I will check the forum later.

I've put about 9 or so hours in the campaign, interval 04 at the moment but I'm playing on hard and have found all intel items and other collectible stuff like those reflex boosters.
(Based on the statistics page and awards page.)
Only used slowmo to get the award for killing four enemies in a row as well, it's not bad or anything but you can probably blast right trough the game by relying on it due to how powerful you get plus the already high amount of armor, medkits and health injectors lying around.
(You can also take a ton of damage compared to what enemy units can handle plus tons of weapon and grenade pickups.)

Just finished it. Not a bad game. But nothing groundbreaking. It won't go into into the gaming history books but I don't think it's meant to. It's one of those games that you play in between masterpieces, to pass the time.
Had a couple of scary moments, but nothing nail biting. Graphics are nice, sounds are excellent, gameplay solid enough. Was sort of hoping it would last a couple of more days, though.
7/10

I'm pretty sure it's CTRL by default, ALT is for sprinting.
