What happens is, Steam tries to contact the Key server to fetch you a G4WL key. If you have another G4WL key, it will work. Smile

1.1.1 - its the current version

That's not the point, it's most likely some kind of crc protection, as if it checks every file and just does not allow You to connect to anything otherwise.

0-day patch and hotfix are the same version, yet they are not compatible between each other.

The others said it's fine to drop JBeckman's files over the vitality release. And then the hotfix. And then use the revloader.

Completed the game at last, though it appears that it works stable only on xpx86 for me, vista x86 gave constant crashes, on xp i played till the end without a crash on ultra settings.
Relics are lazy? I never had such an issue with any other game, though i use vista sp1 for a year and a half already. God, i love my dual boot system Smile

any ideas?

Had the same problem on x64 Vista. Right-click on vitality's install.exe, then under the compatibility tab, click "run this program in compatibility mode for:" and make sure Windows XP (Service Pack 2) is selected. And then make sure "run this program as an Administrator" is checked.

Won't work like that for Steam but it'll work for G4W:Live. Smile

Unsure about that error, no other files appear to have been updated but I'm not sure if it's meant for 1.1.1 games or 1.0 (Or what the unpatched version number is.) which is to say that I'm not sure about savegame compatibility between both versions even though they load.
(Campaign seems fairly lengthy though and some missions take time, especially on higher difficulties so I can understand not wanting to start everything over.)
