Wow you're fuckin stupid. You're a Vista32 user and you won't turn down your texture / effects fidelity settings. I don't give a fuck if you've got 96 gigs of ram, you're not allocating more than 3.5gb of it. Go to Vista64 or turn down your texture settings.

well Vista is the current gen platform, I'm not a geek developer, or some leet coder, just a reqular Jo playing video games, just saying it sucks sometimes being a PC gamer... god so much hatred round here... really sucks 
sides I turn down to medium settings and it still does it on occasion, seems like Relic promised to fix this, can't believe with so many people getting this problem that it wasn't picked up. Seems really common, and I was getting real stoked to play this.
oh and go buy the game you tight wads...

I'm having the same problem as I haven't had the time nor energy to upgrade to Vista 64 yet. That said, the game really doesn't look much better between Medium and Ultra textures. I'd just deal with it until they patch it.

Computers aren't like consoles. Vista isn't the "current gen platform". It's a botched OS that's good for nothing but eye candy.
Unfortunately, I haven't had your problem (WinXP 32bit SP2), so I can't help you.

Jesus CHRIST! 2 Hours long Annihilation game. 3 Eldar vs 3 Nids, by the end Eldar had 4 D-Cannons and Avatar each, looked great when everything that even showed up in lod got razed in split second.

If the lack of depth in DoWII disappoints you, check out the game Men of War. Its a lot like CoH but has even more depth. Each of your units has an inventory and you can actually control them from a third-person perspective.

Alright now I'm confused, and yes I've gone through just about every page of this friggin' thread.
I bought one copy of DoW2 and have it loaded on Steam, with a valid GFWL account set up. I want to play co-op on my LAN with my buddy. I've already been to the cs.rin.ru site, but just don't know which of the tools I need to use.
Is there a way I can play LAN co-op with one legit copy and one of the Vitality release?
Any help would be HUGELY appreciated.

you dont need to pirate anything. just put steam into offline mode for both computers and it should work. I read this a few pages back I think so it should work.
