I downloaded the RELOADED release and both Kaspersky and NIS found many virus on the exes.
I checked other sources, but they seem to be the same.
Anyone else?

Ignore antivirus alarms. Many AV programs detect cracks as viruses. There's nothing wrong with the RLD rls.

Maybe his release is tampered with. Compare CRCs or filesizes to be sure.

Might post here as well:
Im on the last mission:
Spoiler: | Im going after whiteknight(or whatever) and Cal, inside the temple where there are coming insane amounts of zombies. I see the machinegun by the dead soldier, but its still pretty damn hard. So can i rush to some where or do I have to kill all the zombies? Playing on medium btw |

I already checked the files, and both the RARs and the ISO are the same of ALL the torrents available (checked ashes of 7 torrents from different reliable sites).
The affected files aren't the crack, but some EXEs of the installer: I got antivirus warnings during the setup.
I never had a similar problem in 8 years of download...

exactly like bioshock, but there was a fov fix pretty soon. don't see anything on widescreengaming yet, not even a topic discussing the game.
here are comparing screens I just made. Choosing a 16:9 resolution (1680x945) doesnt work also, looks exactly like 16:10, no black bars on top and bottom. I use no scaling, nvidia. |
This happens often these days. Basically the WS (16:9) FOV is the correct one, and others are patch-jobs. By correct, I mean exactly how devs intended for the game to look on consoles. So what you really are seeing in these games, instead of Hor+ for WS resolutions, you are actually seeing Vert+ on NS resolutions.

My ISO is also the same on eMule.
If I do a scan of the burned DVD (or the mounted image) with NIS and Kaspersky, they don't find anything, like http://virusscan.jotti.org/ (thx for the link, very useful!)
But during the setup they block install.exe, dxcheck.exe and nsis.exe.
On WinXP NIS find Suspicious.MH690.A on install.exe and on Win7 Kaspersky find Worm.P2P.generic on install.exe and dxcheck.exe
It seems strange that two of the best antivirus get some false positives... ?_?

Go get Nod32 already.. I mean NIS = Norton Internet Security, right? One of the worst antiviruses if so IMO.

well....played a few missions into this..and i have to say i understand why there wasnt more ads etc for this game prior to release...for several reasons,
a good idea badly executed,
mouse lag,
the AI...OMFG, THE(lack) of AI...
at one point in standing in the jungle with a friendly soldier, close to a rickety bridge, and ya see the lemmings coming (enemies) in much the same way they would on doom 2 back in the day...they line up, and start to walk across the bridge, while the people in front of them get mowed down, and on they come, never running-never jumping off the bridge, a can rem a few games by rebellion truly inspired me... AvP was one...playing as a marine thru the SP...spinechilling.... if shellshock is the best they can do now, they might as well just give up, definitely one of the worst games i have played
when there is no more room in hell, the D34D will walk the earth

The point is it doesn't and that there's always crappy antiviruses that takes crack/whatever for virus, get it?

It's pretty much the opposite.
Spoiler: |
You kill Cal and save the doctor, he develops a vaccine but your character swears to find him and kill him when he has the chance.

I played this game for 10 minutes. The mouse lagging coupled with the outdated graphics makes it hard to keep interest in the game.
Yet another new game to uninstall.

Kaspersky doesn't normally, that's the reason I use it.

the shotgun is the most useless weapon in the game, it doesn't do any bigger damage than the other rifles and only has 7 shots and then you're fucked while reloading
